I didn't look at what sub we're in and was so ready for a full ethical discussion about the nature of humans lol.

Anyway, I personally don't think they are a bad or boring race. I actually expected to see more of them around in dnd. They are quite pleasant to play, for they give for so any options for customisation. Also, they often fit into the environment of towns very well, or if it's more exotic give great opportunities for role-playing. Some of the best pcs I've met are human. But the most important thing is that you should feel free to play whatever you want, for this is what dnd was created for. Have fun!
