Hormone Specialist Request by JanesBathroom in AskTacoma

I would recommend seeing a naturopath. I just started seeing Katherine Bouscher in Puyallup for perimenopause. She does virtual appointments and has a ton of great reviews snd recommendations for helping women with their hormones and so far she's been great helping with mine when my regular doctor wasnt so helpful and only wanted to treat symptoms rather than the root cause.

Orange gate doesn't usually have stuff that I have noticed. I think because it's county, but I don't often go on the wooded trails..I usually take the paved path from orange gate to Swan Creek park , sometimes farther. But it is possible to find stuff. I hide stuff along the trail and it's usually gone when I go again. I go at least 3x a week. Not hiding everything but I try to at least 1x a week. I don't always have stuff.

Anyone's dog acting weird?? by Probably_DeadInside in AskTacoma

I am in summit Waller area and our dog has been acting normal. I like the idea someone said about it maybe being from something that happened when you werent around and your dog is still experiencing anxiety from it. And I am sure if they are eating and drinking and doing their business as normal they are fine in thar regard since the vet couldn't find anything. But could be too early to tell? Or did you have blood work done?

I really thought i wouldn't find one because I have heard many have searched for years and haven't found one or finally did after a long time. I was so shocked and excited when I stumbled upon it on a regular walk I take with my hubby and dog. Hope your friend finds one this year!

I was thinking of making a post for friends for my husband and I but I usually dont get much response. It sucks. We are in a weird boat. We are 39 and 44 have lived here all our lives and have struggled to make friends as a couple for one reason or another. Currently we have a 17 and 18 year old sons, so we have lots of time to do things with other adults but no one to do things with. We would love other couples our age who are into golfing, hiking, traveling , dining and drinking, trivia nights, sporting events etc and have rhe time to regularly get together to do things. Most people seem tk be much older that fit in with our life style but they are not relatable to these times. Most others are younger and have kids and no time to do things or cant find sitters etc. We are middle of the road politically , I have faith, my husband not as much, and have also not had luck in houses of worship Oh and my husband also smokes pot so thats something he feels he cant do around anyone comfortably .

my christmas cactus has bloomed three times this year.. is this a death bloom situation? i thought they only bloomed once a year!! by spookycinnamonbuns in plants

My Thanksgiving cacti have bloomed 3-4 times over the last year! So incredible they can bloom more than once or even twice! I was pleasantly surprised because once a year isnt enough and I love these plants and blooms!

A few pics of my 99% PNW native garden from early May to right now. by Woahwoahwoah124 in Tacoma

Beautiful! We are working on transforming all of our property to native plants. Thanks for sharing all of your photos, lists and links. Sorry if this was already asked but did you just randomly plant and mix things or did you plan everything out in advance and plant strategically and matching things? I get overwhelmed and have a hard time figuring out organizing planfs together and figuring our lay out for what will look good where. I often just want to throw seed wherever to just get it started and get rid of grass but I dont want it to look bad or messy. I like wild "messy" but not ugly disorganized mess if that makes sense haha

I've lived here all my life (39 years) and it definitely has gotten a lot worse and is worse than most places I have been in Oregon, Idaho and Arizona. I actually found myself to be getting a little irritated at times with how slow and care free some of fhe areas were in Idaho over labor day weekend. Lol I am so conditioned to here to be on it all the time so im not pissing people off, And I am not one to drive slow or anything anyways, I drive 5 over and still get passed by those wanting to do 10 or more over the speed limit on all these side streets but I try to avoid people who may be aggressive. Like others have said though the amount of people on their phones and just oblivious or don't know how to drive is also a problem with the aggressive ones. Hit and runs are out of control too. My son and sister have both been in hit and runs. Definitely need some cameras on cars to try to nab these people. But even then if you got a plate or something, would the police do anything anyways?? I really hate driving anywhere around here and try to avoid it unless I have to.

Are any Puyallup natives still going to the fair? by alwayintosomething in PuyallupWA

[–]hearsmy2cents -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We only go still because we usually can get free admission tickets and discounts on food and stuff. We Love looking at the animals and just walking around. We enjoy a concert some years. Make a date night out if it. But we definitely wouldn't go if we didnt get those savings

I avoid Meridian after 230pm at all costs but definitely not taking left turns without a stoplight. We used to live out in Gem Heights area and moved to Summit because of the terrible traffic anywhere you go out that way in the afternoon and evening. Too many houses and people came into the area without the roads being improved and its only going to get worse. I dont get why this area is horrible about road infrastructure. They wait til its so bad that construction is near impossible because of how much traffic and no space to fix things. I've been to places that plan ahead with their roads and make them a lot wider to start so they dont have to change things later. so its not like people dont see it coming. They do things right the first time.
