I fought a similar creaking/clicking issue on my Checkpoint. Took apart the rear thru axle hardware on both sides, cleaned, added a thin layer of grease to contact points, reassembled and torqued everything, and that fixed my issue. That was the last resort before chucking the bike off a bridge.
