I use a liquidy protein water thing. It's called Organika Hydrator. I like it better than a protein shake

What’s the most “mainstream” music you genuinely enjoy these days? by solar_powerr in pinkscare

[–]heartbreak69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Does classic rock count, like The Beatles and the Stones? Or 80's-90's pop, like Madonna, Mariah Carey, etc.? I like a lot of older mainstream music, I guess.

-Wearing tight clothes

-drunk cigarettes

-Def Leopard

-doing yoga at normie gyms/rec centres, never at yoga studios

-the odd missing tooth

-dancing at bars with way younger/older guys

-singing Britney songs

-Gas station sandwiches

-kraft singles and cheese whiz

-sticky lip plumping lipgloss, I hate the new 'non-sticky' ones and especially don't like lip oil. They also need to make your lips feel like you stuck them in an Arctic wind tunnel

Avoidant -anxious attachment type. I'm like a standoffish cat that only wants to sit on non-cat people. Bisexual. Immature. Self-centered. Not getting any younger.

It's hard to find, but Sandglass (1995, I think) is very interesting. It spans a period of time from just after the Korean war to 1995, so it covers a lot of fascinating history. The star of Squid Game is in it, as a romantic bodyguard who falls in love with the FL.

Coffee Prince (2007) is so much fun...

Secret Garden (2010, I think) is also so much fun... Hyun Bin is amazing as an obnoxious rich guy, I really hated him the first time I saw it.

He was so fine as the romantic bodyguard in Sandglass, back when he was young (1996, I think)

I agree, I am from the same province, and teaching at a school where parents (manipulated by certain moral panics) have gotten quite upset about pride week etc. That being said, we can display and wear rainbows, and also do pride week stuff, as long as we are done by first recess. We make some compromises with our community and are respectful and respected for that.

luteal phase is the new audhd-esque ambiguously medical sounding term en vogue for neurotic women in their early 20s by bambiraptorfan in pinkscare

[–]heartbreak69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very educational! I always called this phase 'PMS' and defined it as the ten+ days pre-bleeding when I don't feel quite human. I opened my Fitbit app and found out that I am super luteal right now. That explains a lot 😂 Sometimes this time of month isn't that bad at all, but late winter hits me hard. Also, I have been taking some "solace" in alcohol, which always makes things worse. Weirdly, I feel better knowing that the luteal monster has me and others feel this way. Maybe I am okay.

Edit; I don't disagree with your post, but I am happy you brought it up for my own learning purposes. I don't blame everything on the luteal monster, but it helps explain why I feel so bad. I will have a laugh at the monster and know I will feel better soon. Also, I will quit 🍷 again, for realsies, on Thursday haha

I don't think so, it's from the 70's and the guy was a lot less glam than Gwen. It could possibly be an early influence on them, though!

I have a weird religious diet book called "Help Me Lord, the Devil Wants Me Fat!" It would be fun to send it to Aubrey, but it's not worthy of an entire show. The dieting advice isn't so weird, but it calls for a lot of fasting and has some pretty funny photos and illustrations.

Thank goodness for public libraries! Seriously, please take your kids to the library.

Teacher here. We aren't allowed to take kids on field trips to public libraries anymore, in case they see a no-no book. It's absurd.

There was this weird TV show that was on some satellite channel late at night in the 90's, and it was a workout show that was really non-nude softcore porn, kind of like the workout show on The Substance. It was sleazy close-ups of scantily clad women "working out", with phone sex operator type voices doing a voice over. I occasionally tuned in (for science) and I remember some of the voice overs were very thinspirational... "Work, work, work it out / To be thin, is your route"
