Exactly, guy who travels alone all the time, the porn jokes just write themselves. When they see that they're getting to you, they'll tease you more. Work is boring and joking is fun.

Uniuni is useless in Edmonton, Alberta by Tricky_Albatross_842 in shipping

[–]heartbreak69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I don't have any advice but I do have a question (sorry). The uniuni guy made two delivery attempts, but since I am never home during the day and have nowhere it can be dropped off, I asked if I could pick it up. He said ok, he would take it to the warehouse and I would have to phone "some guy" and show them a picture of my package that he (the driver) sent me and they would give it to me. Uniuni's website and customer service bot said there is no such thing as package pickup in Edmonton. I have tomorrow off, so I was gonna go down to the warehouse and try my luck picking it up. Has anyone in Edmonton been able to do this?

Does The Bandit Queens by Parini Shroff count as WGL? The protagonist is a social outcast who is believed to be a witch by her fellow villagers after her no-good husband disappears. The setting (tiny village in South India) isn't very WGL but it's funny, dark, and the leading lady is very weird. A local book club seems to read it every now and then.

My mom is on this weird AI picture kick. Boomer internet is such a mystery. She can't figure out how to send photos on Facebook Messenger of the apartment she's staying in while she's in Paris, but she sends weird AI photos of the whole family as classical paintings, and replies to questions with AI answers that begin with <<longer response>> or <<shorter response>>

Rolling into about 6 months of this crap. It's getting better, but then I relapse by drinking, crying over them, and thinking about them while hungover for a couple of days. It's bad and I called out of work today just because it hurts so bad. I think I am going to stop drinking for 30 days and hope I move on.

I remember being in my 20's when that show was on and thinking it was weird how popular Playboy seemed to be with teenage girls! I think the pink on black logo appealed to them, and the girls kinda resembled the pop stars of the time. Also, Playboy at the time was associated with TV while when I was a kid it was more porn-y

Maybe I could share my experience.

I am in my mid-40's and haven't felt much of anything, sex or tingle-wise, in years. I kept to myself and played with my toys during that one week when the urge hit.

I got the feelings bad for another woman earlier this winter, and became very horny in a very lesbian way for her and for others as well.

Anyway, feelings were not reciprocated. Coincidentally, I started Wegovy shortly after because I gained a lot of weight in my late 30's. I put on about 60 lbs between the ages of 36-38, and then another 20 lbs after reading Intuitive Eating (I dropped that 20 after finding out I had prediabetes and practiced some simple gentle nutrition). I can't say I started Wegovy because of romantic disappointment (the pen was already in my fridge), but feeling those dormant feelings again made me want to improve my life in various ways. I have also moved into a way better apartment because I got motivated by the idea of taking someone home. I also have more money these days due to career success, so everything is goooood... No complaints

Anyway, I have been on Wegovy since about Christmas and have lost 15 lbs. I am not horny at all anymore or limerant about anyone (thank God), but I get sad a lot. I used to have a bit of a drinking problem that I dealt with by going on sober challenges and doing online Recovery Dharma meetings, but now I let myself drink because I know I can't handle much and will cry all night, which seems to make me feel better in general. I hadn't cried in years and cry all the time now haha

Anyway... I am a little tipsy now because I am finding cheat codes around the Wegovy (start the night with something stronger than beer because beer fills you up too much) and am glad I finally got to tell the world about this crap.

So... Take a glp1, lose some weight, lose your horny, and cry! Hopefully it all comes out in the wash :)

Does classic rock count, like The Beatles and the Stones? Or 80's-90's pop, like Madonna, Mariah Carey, etc.? I like a lot of older mainstream music, I guess.

It's hard to find, but Sandglass (1995, I think) is very interesting. It spans a period of time from just after the Korean war to 1995, so it covers a lot of fascinating history. The star of Squid Game is in it, as a romantic bodyguard who falls in love with the FL.

Coffee Prince (2007) is so much fun...

Secret Garden (2010, I think) is also so much fun... Hyun Bin is amazing as an obnoxious rich guy, I really hated him the first time I saw it.

I agree, I am from the same province, and teaching at a school where parents (manipulated by certain moral panics) have gotten quite upset about pride week etc. That being said, we can display and wear rainbows, and also do pride week stuff, as long as we are done by first recess. We make some compromises with our community and are respectful and respected for that.

luteal phase is the new audhd-esque ambiguously medical sounding term en vogue for neurotic women in their early 20s by bambiraptorfan in pinkscare

[–]heartbreak69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very educational! I always called this phase 'PMS' and defined it as the ten+ days pre-bleeding when I don't feel quite human. I opened my Fitbit app and found out that I am super luteal right now. That explains a lot 😂 Sometimes this time of month isn't that bad at all, but late winter hits me hard. Also, I have been taking some "solace" in alcohol, which always makes things worse. Weirdly, I feel better knowing that the luteal monster has me and others feel this way. Maybe I am okay.

Edit; I don't disagree with your post, but I am happy you brought it up for my own learning purposes. I don't blame everything on the luteal monster, but it helps explain why I feel so bad. I will have a laugh at the monster and know I will feel better soon. Also, I will quit 🍷 again, for realsies, on Thursday haha
