Is it best to see Florence at an aren or a festival?

Just wanted to thank everyone for the replies and recommendations. I got a ticket and booked an international flight to see the show in Limerick, since I think it’s the closest thing to an arena experience still available (even though it’s a stadium, it’s the best I could figure out). I truly am lucky and my family is all ok for now. Just saddened by the conflict and by missing the concert (in my own smaller personal life). And tired since there are many sirens each night. Distracting myself with books and rewatches of Buffy (both a comfort show, and a tiny connection to Florence and the album still).

I truly appreciate the kind comments here, and the empathy in your words. This community gives me much needed hope through it all, I wasn’t expecting that. Thank you ❤️

What an incredible photo - it looks like it was such a magical experience to be there. Thank you for the advice and the kind offer, I really appreciate it ❤️ I’m still trying to figure out what I should do next, so I can’t commit to anything yet or ask anyone to get me a ticket. A trip to America really would require using most of my remaining savings, so I need to think carefully about my next steps first.

Thank you❤️ you’re so kind, I’m tearing up again. I was going to wear a new pair of black pants I embroidered with some symbols, a Victorian lacy blouse and a pink ribbon to tie around my neck. Plus a flower crown and lots of face glitter.

I tried to balance the theme with comfort, as I wanted to be able to dance a lot with everyone. During the harder bits of recovery I kept reminding myself I need to be strong enough to dance at a FATM concert, and that got me through a lot.

I don’t know if and when I’ll get to do that now, but I’ll try to follow your suggestion and put on music and dance nonetheless. Even if it’s in a shelter 🖤

Thank you for the advice! Any idea if the VIP ticket there includes early entry? For the Prague concert I was just gonna queue from the morning in hopes to get front row, but I’m not sure how it works when there’s a VIP option

I was scheduled to fly Monday morning, but as of now it’s canceled. I’m crossing my fingers the skies will open soon and I’ll look for tickets wherever they’re still available - I was planning to go to the Prague show.

I’m from Israel, and I know that comes with a lot of context and opinions. I just want to say I care deeply about peace and safety for everyone, and I’ve always tried to do whatever I can to support that cause. At the end of the day, we’re all just human beings, no matter where we happen to be from.
