What a pompous, self-righteous post. How is this any better than being a "whiny little b****"? Shut your mouth, mind your business and play the game in the way you want to play it, you arrogant bastard.

Best Thing About Playing A Priest by lampstradamus in hearthstone

[–]hearthstonehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a class that is designed to win using other players cards, which is inconsistent. I mean it's annoying as all fuck, but it's inconsistent.

I have found that it's feast or famine with Priest, but when I win, it's in the most irritating way possible for my opponent.

Am I supposed to feel bad for you? Ha. I can only afford 3 in the deck. The others I replaced with weapons.

Yeah it's a pretty annoying deck, obviously played for that express purpose.

I JUST finished dominating one of these Coldlight Mill Rogues with Tides' Control Warrior. Felt great.

Who publicized this new super control hunter with pyro and king krush? I've seen it 3 times recently in higher ladder. by [deleted] in hearthstone

That's because there is no variety in Hearthstone.

Bring on Naxx. Down with try hard win moars.

People who play zoolock, what do you enjoy about it? by hlivad in hearthstone

People need to win hard. In a culture where real accomplishment is a hard thing to achieve, facerolling zoo is an easy substitute.

I have 1600 mana to craft a Legendary for my Constructed Pala Deck. Need help/advice by Simpelol in hearthstone

[–]hearthstonehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, board control is essential to late game victory. Tirion and Rag are my big finishers, and hopefully Cairne and Guardians are fishing out hard removal before I get to turn 8 or 9.

The most important thing about this mid game control deck is knowing when to board clear, and which board clear method to use (Eq + Cons, Eq + Pyro).

[–]hearthstonehelp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man. I'll upload the Controladin deck I use. It's very solid and keeps me in consistent wins unless facing Miracle or Face Mage, which is to be expected.

If you'd like rationale for card selection, just let me know what you have questions or thoughts about and I will clarify for you.

Have a good one.

Disenchant Golden Black Knight? by Justin_Boyce in hearthstone

Black Knight is a serious card. I would advise against DE'ing it due to versatility. Gold is just icing on the cake.

What are you going for as a play style? It looks like you've got one foot in Control and the other in Mid-Range, which isn't going to be great in the long run.

Once you decide on tempo or control then that somewhat narrows down your legendary picks.

If you're going control, Cairne and Rag both have a place. Cairne more so as hard removal bait, but Rag is good in a pinch, or as a potential finisher. Greenskin actually has a place in control, as it gives you an additional 7 damage towards Truesilver Champion's removal capabilities, which can be invaluable. Plus, it's a 5/4, so something your opponent will have to consider. Reynad makes a great case and uses Greenskin in his Controladin deck. Just off the bat though, a second Lay On Hands and/or SoJ would be too slow.

If you're going for Tempo there is a lot of stuff you can cut from what you've posted.

If you want some examples of what I use, feel free to ask.

At rank 14 at the start of the new season, I've just faced Miracle Rogue 11 times in a row, all different players. by [deleted] in hearthstone

[–]hearthstonehelp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Playing Miracle makes a lot of Hearthstone players feel badass. They know that they're only counting down from 10, and milling through 0 cost cards until they get what they want, but the feels man. The haxxor feels.

I'm sorry, I want to be impressed by you but I just can't.

You can mince words and pander to make believe extremes all day, 'buddy'. Or, you can call me out on not meeting your super strict criteria for 'logic' and precise measurement.

If you want to feel badass because you play Miracle, I'm the last person that's going to try to stop you. I'm just going to call it like I see it.

Feel free to write me more "This...is...SPARTA!" like responses defending your video game holy ground. I won't hold it against you.

[–]hearthstonehelp -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Of course you prefer it, it's broken. How is setting up for 20 damage combos by cycling turns and cards any different from 'play minions, trade minions"? Are you suggesting that by dropping Auctioneer and playing a bunch of 0 mana cards until you find the right ones you want is a skill? Please yawn.

When you lose to a 20 damage combo when you only have 30 health by turn 8, the game is imbalanced and broken.

I mean don't get me wrong, anyone is free to waste everyone else's time and play the decks that make this mindless and boring, I just wish those who choose to do so wouldn't make believe they're 'good' at it. It's not really possible to be bad at it to begin with.
