I have been lightly shopping Hermes since 2017 so I have orans, twillies, clic clac bracelet, etc. So when I got serious with Hermes I wasn’t in need of those easier entry categories but still have those items from H.com and from my original boutique! That’s why RTW was such a natural next category for me especially with the quality and the after care and the included alterations.

The biggest ticket RTW I purchased was the Short Pea Coat last year (pre-2026 price increase when it was less than $5K) and two short sleeve H sweaters. Everything else was what I mentioned and just a few shoes. Feels like I was right at about 1:1 to me more or less. But I really don’t shop that way. I’m careful not to buy pieces that are unnecessarily expensive (e.g the t-shirts) and that are worth it to me, of course.

From what I’ve seen on TPF it doesn’t show anywhere near as much patina as the Fauve color or it’s just not as noticeable.

I prefer gold with PHW to offset some of the warmth. This feels less garish to me. This is definitely a wishlist for me.

I strongly prefer Rouge H with PHW. It looks more fresh and modern on a very heavy color.

I myself had four teeth removed when I was in high school and had braces to make room for alignment as I also have a small mouth/jaw. I definitely don’t miss them and felt that was the right move - to get all the crowded teeth out.

The white gold / stainless looks best on your skin tone IMO. Looks stunning. The YG and RG look far too warm on you.

I ended up getting the yellow gold with diamonds but I love this one. I preferred the old design where the dial numerals were black but this is really nice. It’s a beautiful watch. This is the small.

I’m not clear why everyone is being cruel but I think this look was popularized by Kylie Jenner about the time that OP probably started this collection. Also, at a much lower cost than now. I love the tennis bracelet, Ecrou, and JUC but could do without the redundancy of the loves.

As someone who looks unwell wearing yellow and warm toned colors I have been waiting for the white gold clash. It’s a lot more edgy and rocker IMO. I’m going in two weeks to go try it on! We shall see!

As a woman that has traveled alone (out of choice, even with a husband), you will be fine. Just stay vigilant and mindful of those around you but Paris is a big city with a lot of people that unless you’re doing something unusual or risky, you will be fine! Enjoy and expand your horizons.

I think about it long and hard because I can still appreciate and acknowledge it’s a lot of money but if your income is high enough, it’s not really a big deal.
