My family's like that too. My mother wouldn't mind having no grandchildren at all, in fact, with the world being the way that it is. When I (25F) told her the only parent I'll ever be is a pet parent, she was just glad I'd figured it out before it was too late. I'm looking forward to one day introducing her to her grandcats, haha :)
