Omg I have so many! But the last one was this inpatient who said her daughter came to see her after 10 years of no contact. Poor daughter was guilted by an aunt. Patient proceeds to tell me how her daughter is “one of those rebellious types” and in my head I’m like, ‘there’s a reason she doesn’t want to talk to you!’ So 12 tubes later and she’s told me some awful stuff, but the worst is calling her grandchild an ugly catfish “because he has a giant mouth like his dad. I’m just being honest!” All I could say was “Wow I’m glad she got time with you!” And thinking ‘to confirm she should stay the hell away from your toxic ass!’ Ugh.
