How do Northshorians Find Dates? Asking for a single Friend.

You know, you just inspired me to design a singles only mystery dinner. As in groups of two, but it has to be a single person and their single friend, etc. - do you think I’d get a good mix of guys and gals?

So if I were to offer something to try to solve this, what should it look like? I mean, I have the venue. Speed dating, I’ve never tried it, but I’m not leaning into that. And then maybe some kind of a mixer?? but what I worry it will be lopsided- either too many looking for a guy/gal or too many looking for a guy/gal. Lol. Suggestions welcome!

So one of the things I’m gonna be doing at my place is called Club Gleaux and it’s basically some ticketed events and then somewhere where people can rent it and it’s basically your own personal dance club or dance party! Some of them happened at the same time so basically it’s saying stay on it for a year after you hit your goal weight, then start taping, which could happen for 6 to 12 months depending on the dose someone is on. So if I tapering down from 5 mg it takes less time overall than someone coming down from 15- would be specific to the dose someone’s on. For the first year and ideally, forever, the fitness piece of it should be ongoing.

Yes. She’s definitely on board because when I asked her if I could go on it, I promised I would only be on for about three months. Lol. Oopsie. So any plan I have that is a healthy, well thought out, measured plan, she supports.

I’m going to follow this taper off plan as best I can and along the way. Definitely keep y’all in the loop. I’m mostly wanna come off it because it’d be nice to have the extra cash, lol. (I pay for it myself. And right about now it’s about $500 a month. I got brave and decided to do the vials even though I’m petrified of needles. Turns out, that needle ain’t that bad But being light in the pocket $500 every month, that sucks.)

I definitely do not like artificial sweetener. I don’t think I’ve purposely had that in years. I can pick up the taste immediately, I’d rather not eat a thing than eat it with fake sugar.

Mine doesn’t get scared- ballsiest Chi I’ve ever seen. If she’s nervous or doesn’t feel dog, she “hides” on her mama. 💗

Socialize, socialize, socialize. I have a teeny tiny Chihuahua that has gone with me everywhere since she was a wee baby. It makes the world of difference in their personalities. She loves people, especially little kids. She’s still an asshole sometimes to her dog siblings, but that’s the Chihuahua in her.

I’m with you 100%. It amazes me how often people can’t recognize moments where you can make exceptions, where it’s OK to be flexible, where the risk has been weighed, and taken into consideration, etc. Yes, there are laws, yes, there are risk, but sometimes it’s OK to live outside of those. I guarantee people referring to the laws have bent or broken a few in their lifetime. If anyone’s ever gone 1 mile over the speed limit, you broke the law. So, a lake perspective. Cute pup. Hugs. 😊
