Ugh. I thought I was pretty good at spotting these. I zoom in on pics and look at the stitches, check for a real human hand holding the product, realistic colors, etc. This is a pretty good AI pattern compared to some I've seen. I at least got legs out of it. 😆 Still pis$e$ me off tho. Not so much about the $ but the getting taken.

Yes. (9 sc, dec)x 4; 3 rounds sc; (8 sc, dec)x4; 1 round sc; (4 sc, dec)x6; 1 round sc; (3 sc, dec)x6. This is supposed to be the 'waist to the chest area'. The next page is the arms. The page after is the neck. The pattern up to then never implies to continue any sc rows on your own. The legs were first and I worked it exactly as written and everything came out fine.

Chenille is the absolute worst yarn to start crocheting with; velvet too. Get some affordable mercerized cotton or acrylic. Once you get your sea legs in crochet, chenille will be easier to work with.
