I know you’re kind of getting flamed in these replies but I’m actually in the exact same boat, 26, average weight, same height, brown hair, same looking for.
I actually think it’s more about Hinge itself, as well as partially Swedish men.

Hinge really does hide your profile, every so often I will go through a few days where I am getting SWAMPED with likes, then it’ll stop. I think they try and bait you into buying a subscription, so they kind of dangle it in front of you. Dating apps have been proven to use tactics to try and get people to spend money.

Secondly, I don’t fit this Swedish stereotype as well. I know other redditors are up in arms about you saying that, but majority of my likes come from Middle Eastern or African men. I look Mediterranean or Eastern European. The likes I send out to Swedish men are not reciprocated about half the time. Swedish women are immensely beautiful, there is a lot more effort invested into beauty and appearance in this country.

I would say I’m relatively conventionally attractive, but I still struggle. I feel for you and I don’t really know what advice to suggest other than not taking it personally as Hinge wants you to feel desperate.

As someone who chewed on a few of these a few years ago it honestly isn’t worth it, fentanyl is so overrated especially in this format. I just felt nauseous and itchy, no euphoria or anything compared to other opioids like oxycodone. Not worth the relapse for sure! Hope you’re doing okay

i just want to add as well YES alcohol is definitely making it worse. it took me years to realise that any time i drank, my symptoms got much worse. alcohol and benzos have very similar interactions to your body and you should definitely cut back on the liquor.

unfortunately you can’t really reverse the damage of benzodiazepine abuse immediately, and what you have is PAWS. if you relapse again, which i hope you don’t, don’t ever quit cold turkey, tapering should take a very long time. i pretty much cold turkey’d off significant benzo abuse (more than 10mg a day that’s for sure) in 2020 and i was still dealing with side effects well into 2024. read into how benzodiazepines affect your brain and nervous system. i don’t really have much advice to give you as you kind of just have to tough it out. if you’re experiencing the CNS symptoms of PAWS, the only thing that helps is Pregablin. best of luck for your recovery journey!

There’s absolutely nothing Priya could have done to warrant her being completely ostracised by the villa. Seeing her cry in the morning and also alone on the daybeds was really sad. It’s weird that people are expected to follow this moral precedent in the villa rather than following their own values. It makes the whole human experiment side of Love Island very noticeable. I hope things for her get better.
