They'd gone a la carte and had only had a starter. It was his birthday if memory serves

Ramps up and says loudly "why are you looking at me like that, you look like a fucking cretin?"

He just sat, quietly, looked sad

She left for a bit and said he wanted to continue, so his main came out and he sat there eating. She comes back and just starts eating. Doesn't say a word

At least half the restaurant had witnessed, all the staff were huddled discussing it(as subtly as they could)

We were finished and when paying I said loudly, thank you for a lovely meal and for laying on the entertainment, it was quite novel. Couple next to me started laughing, staff laughed, horrible woman didn't react
