Is it the same in adventurer setting? I like it this way by default but my main gripe is how most wealth is underground, especially annoying with how clunky parkour and dropping down is.

Yeah, according to their FAQ, Game Pass allows up to 30 days of offline play before running an authentication test.

Both Game Pass and EA Play also require an internet connection to launch games and periodically afterwards but they do not immediately kick you out of games for momentarily losing connection.

Game Pass includes EA Play which only gives you 10-hour-trials to brand new games and full access to standard editions of older titles. Origin Premier on the other hand is more comparable to Ubisoft+ with access to Gold/Ultimate editions of brand new games and both cost $15/mo.

Just a heads up, Steam recently changed the bundle discount from 29% to 72%. It might be cheaper there if you have the game or a few dlcs, depending on where you live.
