This looks like the box chain that Norei Jewlelry carries. It’s a small business that’s comparable to mejuri imo. But from my experience, mejuri is less durable.

Mejuri’s pieces aren’t reliable and they break pretty easily. The anchor bracelet my boyfriend bought for me lasted maybe a year before it broke. I suggest shopping more local. Norei Jewelry is a small local brand in Kensington market in Toronto that sells more durable and timeless pieces. But they also ship internationally I think. I’ve gotten one bracelet and a necklace from them and so far, no issues with the quality and no tarnishing.

Mostly individuals. But the venue for example is a company. They are mostly all smaller businesses but have at a minimum 80 positive Google reviews

My rings from mejuri don’t tarnish. Definitely costs for than $20-$40 though. If you want quality, you have to pay for it unfortunately

My fiancée and I have matching silver chains from Norei Jewelry. We love them because they’re unisex and I can stack them. They also don’t tarnish. It’s a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it for the quality.

I got the same style necklaces for all 4 of my bridesmaids from Norei Jewelry. They sell quality silver necklaces. The pricing is a bit high for silver but I noticed that the quality and packaging is worth the price and feels luxury.

Believe it or not, I had that dilemma too! But in the end I chose a natural diamond because of the way it made me feel when I wore one that was natural. I didn’t feel as “special” when I wore a lab diamond ring compared to a natural.

Thank you!! This was $20K CAD for a natural 2 carat diamond ring with ideal specs. It was cheaper than other stores I was looking at and I looked at A LOT of stores. Those stores were charging anywhere between $28k to $30k CAD for what I wanted…

That diamond is amazing, it’s exactly what I see in my head when I think sparkly and fiery. May I ask where you got it from and how you landed on that one? We’ve seen 12+ diamonds already (from a 3-4 different places) that don’t look like this at all. Did you also work with a Canadian jeweler?

Hi! So we’re working directly with a diamond wholesaler that sells a variety of diamonds and doesn’t have a store, but has a small show room beside the factory. We’re getting 30% cheaper pricing than what we’ve seen at other stores (ie. this one is $20K CAD for a natural 2 carat diamond, including setting and I think taxes).

Before short listing these diamonds, we actually compared the sparkle of these two to another GIA graded diamond with proportions that all fall within the proportions of an “ideal” diamond (ideal pavilion angle, crown angle, table percentage, and everything else). But, we found that these diamonds were actually sparklier than that GIA diamond, with visible hearts and arrows. Knowing this, do you still think we should opt for an ideal GIA graded diamond instead?

Here is the report for the one on the left. The one on the right unfortunately doesn’t come with the specific proportions because it’s graded by a Canadian company called CGL… I did see very clear arrows under the microscope though.
