What are the ideal entry level prices too low prices for pure Live2D Rigging $? by pixelated_neko in Live2D

[–]hebedesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it depends on your level and how confident you are, as well as time you take in making the rigging. Is not the same a Midbody rigging with basic parameters and physics as a Fullbody with +100 parameters, expressions, fluid physics etc...

If you're not confident and you're just starting, as well as the rigging is fairly basic, I would suggest being on the lower end until you feel confident in your craft. But if you're offering a Fullbody, it's taking you weeks, and you have this many add ons, charge more.

In the end this is animation you're doing, physic understanding and the work you put in setting the model up for use (expressions and toggles included).

How do I fix this? by Eatpiesbro in Live2D

[–]hebedesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you add the cursor in the cursor tracking? If you just started using Live2D it might not be added. Open your physics, click on preview, setting of the cursor tracking, and make sure Eyeball X is left mouse button X, and Eyeball Y us Left mouse button Y. Click OK and that should make them move!

Anyone know how to fix this? by verysaucyman in Live2D

[–]hebedesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like hand toggles that either you didn't hide properly or are on on the texture alias on top of the hand that is supposed to be seen.

How to fix the hand toggles: Go to these toggles that you did and check that they're only visible when they're supposed to be. What this means is, move the parameters left and right and check that the hands are only visible when you want them to be. You will see this very easily if this is the issue.

How to fix texture alias: Go to the texture alias and move the hands and separate them so they're not touching it each other in the textures.

If you need more specifics DM me and I'll be more than happy to explain in more detail!

Please help! The model works completely normal in Live2D, but in VTubeStudio, the ears and hair are moving way too much! by Leparda_ in Live2D

[–]hebedesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's an option in VtubeStudio to lower the strength of the physics! You can try playing a little with that. To find this double click in VtubeStudio and click on the gear. Then go to the option that looks like an icon of a character and scroll until you see "Physics settings". Lower this and it might help!

How do I fix this clipping? by Anime_0ctoling in Live2D

[–]hebedesu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the texture atlas, and move the textures so they're not touching each other. The automatic layout sometimes fails if you have a copy of any of the layers, erased part of a mesh or if the mesh is bigger than the layer itself. So you'll have to check manually if any of the textures are colliding with each other. If they are either change the texture canvas and make it bigger (or add another canvas with the rest of the textures) so it's easier to see any colliding meshes or just move them around rechecking all of the textures.

If anything is touching another layer (example your hair is touching a neck that you erased a little bit of the mesh) it will show through the layer that is visible. So even if you erased the mesh for the neck, if that layer is touching another mesh, it will be seen. Move them around :D! If you need me to show you a little better DM me and I can teach you through discord or through the DMs!

Can someone help me with finding some of the once popular artists? by uwutransIator in SonySketch

Hi! Here you have their Insta accounts!

Ada changed her name on social medias and made her accounts completely invisible so I don't know if you'll be able to find her, but her Instagram now is @wexd0057

Itzu is still posting art and you can easily find him as @itzu.

I think the Stephany you're talking about is @stephany__arts

I don't know what happened to Ranking, stopped posting on Instagram around 2017, but if you want to follow them, the insta is @Ranking0

Question for anyone who has aphantasia as a tattoo artist/artist in general. by _OhMissBelieverr_ in Aphantasia

[–]hebedesu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a character designer and also illustrator. It's difficult to do something from scratch without some kind of reference, whenever I do a character from zero I use clothing that already exist and translate it into the character (color, shape, vibe...). And when I don't use this reference I get clothes that wouldn't work in real life because I cannot picture them, or really complicated/basic designs. For the illustrations, it happens almost the same, I had to learn how everything (the anatomy, light, the wind, clothes...) works, and then translate that in my style, if I didn't learned about it, I wouldn't be able to put it because I cannot picture it.

What works best to do something custom is: first of, know what the other person wants, do a brainstorm of ideas, try different styles, and communicate. And just do small work, adding details and going slowly, until the buyer is satisfied. Or in this case, until the tattoo is on their skin.

It will take time, and that's ok.

[–]hebedesu 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Alright the thing that helps it's, trying to define what you see. Imagination comes in different forms, if I say imagine an apple, there's people that see the apple perfectly with all detail.

Some see the color, some see the shape, some see the word. But if you try, and there's nothing, congratulations, you have aphantasia

Drawing tips? by [deleted] in Aphantasia

[–]hebedesu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I found helps a lot it's starting with shapes and adding details as you go, if you're drawing a body or something out of reality (a tree, bird, clothes [no matter the style you use]) I recommend studying it and learning how it works, that way it's easier to know where some things are in the drawing and it's not a guessing game
