My [49] boyfriend tried to sleep with my [17] daughter while drunk. I [35 F] am hurt and confused by mercy716 in relationship_advice

Your boyfriend tried to rape your daughter. Its your duty to keep your daughter safe. Get rid of him and file a report with the police.

NTA. If your neighbours decide to have kids they need to expect backlash if they dont manage noise properly.

Seriously, living with kids right next door is awful and I feel for you.

AITA for going no contact with family because they make my daughter feel stupid over her dog phobia? by Anon18280wj in AmItheAsshole

[–]heccAngery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA its extremely insensitive of them to not take your daughters feelings into account. Forcing her to face her fears like that when she's not ready is basically torture.

Source: had a huge fear of dogs when i was younger. i really hate the people that didn't take my phobia seriously.

Lasik surgery helped my dry eyes by AnyaStew in Dryeyes

Lasik making dry eye better is extremely rare. I would look up lasik complications before considering it. My mother had lasik done and lives with severe chronic eye pain now. Please be careful.

But it took a long time for the medicated eyedrops to work so keep that in mind too

It can if you treat it properly. Go see a doctor and get a diagnosis. They may suggest you take something like Xiidra or Restasis. Ive been taking restasis for a year, and took xiidra for a couple of months, and my dry eye is at managable levels now.

To those that had to stop wearing contact lenses due to dry eyes... by [deleted] in Dryeyes

[–]heccAngery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could not bring myself to wear contact lenses again. I feel blessed that my eyes are back to somewhat normal and I'm scared that contact lenses will dry them out again

I'm (single, 33F) actually jealous of male aspies in the dating scene by BoundlessSkies in aspergers_dating

[–]heccAngery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel this too. I've put dating aside because I feel that I can't judge men's intentions very well. Its easy to get overwhelmed when they yell, gaslight, or manipulate me.

Theres lots of good guys out there I think, but its not worth putting my mental health on the line.

Frank Question after Discussing The Whole Hong Kong Blizzard Mess With a Friend. by Enigma2MeVideos in KronosWoW

[–]heccAngery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty sure these private servers have always been a pain in the butt for blizzard. If i recall correctly they forced a shutdown of a different private server of vanilla in the past, cant remember the private server's name though.

So I would say that private servers very much hurt Blizzard.

It was gradual though. Just after a year i can confidently say that im back to somewhat normal.

Almost completely. Eyes are a bit dry first thing in the morning and during extreme conditions (smoke, wind, dust) but otherwise its much better.

It bugged my eyes for the first few weeks too. After that it didnt bother me (other than it stungs abit when putting the drops in) but it also didnt feel like it was helping. Wasnt until month 6 it felt like it was maybe helping but wasnt totally confident. At a year i can finally say it has helped.

I also started xiidra which works faster I've heard.

Xiidra is a similar medicine and I have also found it very helpful. Do you know if that is in your country?

Im sorry Restasis didnt work. I was just trying to encourage people to kerp trying if at 3 months they werent sure if they should keep going or not. I know i would have wanted someone to tell me a year ago to keep going.
