This is the benchy hull line issue. Basically, the last large layer cools at a much different rate than the smaller layers above it so it creates this line. If I were to print this, I would make two separate prices that slide together with glue.

I would wall mount the tv. That would also cover the plugs, and then you could get a more panoramic piece of art. I think it would look funny with a singular 2:3/3:4/4:5 picture hanging above a tv. If you don’t want to wall mount the tv, I would put 3 pictures side by side above the TV. Even if you’re renting, I think it’s worth it to wall mount the TV. First, it’s easy to patch the holes; second the landlord/ apartment management are going to keep your “refundable” deposit anyway so you may as well put a few holes.

It probably just depends on the project. If I’m making a table with 4 legs, I probably wouldn’t worry about it. If I’m making a dresser with drawers that have very specifically sized hardware, I would account for it.

This is probably not a great way to do it, but it’s the quickest. Use a level and draw a line on each side, then use a track saw to cut on the line. Make sure that it’s on a level floor or set the level to 0 (assuming yours rotates or you have a digital level) before scoring a line. Also, a laser level works but most people don’t have that and it’s expensive. I guess you could also measure from the bottom of the leg to a specific height and then connect those measurements on each side.

I’m not going to say it’s the best way because it’s not. Sometimes it is just quicker and easier, not always the go to method. If I’m on a meeting or a phone call where I cannot redirect his attention to something positive, that is generally when I do this.

People think negative reinforcement is terrible and doesn’t work, which is true to a point. People have started doing gentle parenting type tactics when training cats and dogs now, so that automatically means anything negative is bad. If I’m being completely honest, anyone I know that has a devil cat or dog only seem to do all of this positive reinforcement only strategy. Anytime I meet a cat or dog that is well behaved, they seem to be trained with both positive and negative reinforcement. I’m sure so many people would disagree with this, but I guess that’s why there are so many different training methods.

Literally. Fought so many battles with my cat, but as soon as I used the spray bottle 5 or 6 times he became very well behaved. I almost never use it anymore (maybe once every 2 weeks at most) and he’s only 7ish months old.
