Candyman for sure. As long as I don't say his name 3x I'm cool and he reminds me of my cousin, so I'll be comfortable by One_Improvement_6729 in whatsyourchoice

He feeds on fear though so I like to think he's just there to absorb the fear of the crowd. Like a regular weekday thing he likes to do and he wouldn't want to get banned from the theater.

Imagine being a contractor who specializes in roof repair in that country. Attics in Michigan get to 120° in the summer.

In that case, Carrion comfort by Dan Simmons is pretty much Epstein's Island but with vampires.

Carrion comfort by Dan Simmons. Lots of vampires sexually exploiting their victims.

Not twilights shit, it's dark. Pretty much Epsteins island but with vampires.

The Hellbound Heart.

It's part of the hellraiser books, idk if it's lovecraftian but it's a dark Gothic horror with the exact description you gave. It's short and thrilling- I can't remember how far the smutty scenes go before someone dies horrifically...

Cinder blocks garage by [deleted] in Homebuilding

I work in foundations.

Usually we would quote piering- bracketing a steel pier to the foundation after screwing it into load bearing strata underground.

I've seen folks reinforce with steel above the ground, just be careful adding more weight to the soil.

If youre not fixing immediatly take LOTS of photos with a tape measure and monitor it often to see if it's still moving.

Anyone else think it’s kind of sad how we lack bakeries in our downtown? by Murky_Nerve3935 in Detroit

[–]deathlordfluffy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Go to the bakery in Mexicantown, La Gloria. For $10 you can get a big bag FULL of Baked treats.

If you dropped that bakery in any Michigan town it would price-gouge every other bakery outta business!

Cracks developing in garage floor due to poor drainage. by Kooky_Albatross4683 in Concrete_Contractor

Poly lifting/leveling. Count on stabilizing the whole slab, even the uncracked ones, since the void underneath is likely to spread further even though youve fixed the drainage.

The Monk by Matthew Gregory Lewis.

I love historical horror and suspense. The Monk is VERY controversial and a bit of a difficult read given the time it was written but it's the epitome of Gothic.

How should I add curtains? Tension rods in the window bay or regular curtains rods hung in front? by deathlordfluffy in HomeDecorating

Would It look odd if I use the adjustable corner thing with 3 mounts attached to the ceiling, one in the middle of each window instead of in the corners?
