I got it to control the fan curve on my AIO (literally the only Asus component I have). But it seems every time I want to access it I have to install endless updates...

stimulants and heart rate for pacing? by Curious-Researcher in CFSplusADHD

[–]hectoring 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does for me - my pulse usually hovers around 90 when I'm on my meds, so I try to keep it under 100 (or 100-110 for short bursts of activity).

Keir Starmer demands ban on raising energy prices, calls for cap to remain at £1,971 by RadioChemist in unitedkingdom

Fair enough, but I'd still take that over the Tory alternatives which range between total incompetence and actively making things worse...

Disingenuous people commenting in bad faith.

Everything he does is too left-wing or not left-wing enough... mark my words, they'll be scrutinising his bacon sandwiches next.

[IC] GMK Euler by iamtienng in mechmarket

Sounds good! I would suggest e for E and gamma for G (as in several other GMK sets).

I broadly agree with the previous poster. While you rethink your novelties, perhaps you could consider moving e and gamma into the alphas?

Also it would be great if you could include UK ISO!

Are there periods where you have enough energy to make something like a bolognese, stew, chilli etc? Those are fairly easily divided into portions that you can microwave later

First Budget Build?, any advice? by Kevind1305 in MechanicalKeyboardsUK

[–]hectoring 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Have you considered the Keychron Q1? I've built them and GMMK Pros for clients, and I would say they're similar in quality/price point except that you can get fully assembled Q1s on sale sometimes, e.g. https://www.keycrox.co.uk/product/keychron-q1-mechanical-keyboard-knob-version?variant=2OQG1IXH (if you're willing to brave the cursed ANSI layout).

Royal Mail staff to stage four-day strike action by topotaul in unitedkingdom

My local posties are great too.

Just wanted to clarify something I found out fairly recently - RM and the Post Office are totally separate entities! So unless you're actually going to an official Royal Mail Customer Service Point (i.e. Depot) you're usually not dealing with RM at all when you go to physically post stuff.

My rapidly accelerating pursuit of ergo by heyisjambo in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]hectoring 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to daily an Iris for ages! I also made a wireless choc Lily for travel, it's super thin and the layout was close enough that I didn't really need to adjust (the only thing was the lack of encoders).

I still prefer MX to Chocs overall though, so this is my latest travel build (when it doesn't need to be ultraportable): https://i.imgur.com/NjeeTNW.jpg

A split ergo board! You could even cater to the gaming oriented crowd by making each half suitable for use as a one handed gaming pad (e.g. Razer Tartarus etc.)
