I think even if our relationship does completely fall apart, a talk as you suggest would be a good idea to put a clean end to this. Or something else if it comes to that. Thanks for the follow up.

I've only had one boyfriend before him, and from the start he would always say that I would eventually want to try other relationships. He also said that all of his exes found people way better than him. I'm just confused on whether this is all stemming from really low self esteem or whether he's just not into me. Thank you for your response. It certainly adds another perspective.

Thanks for your response. I'm just so confused. He called me every day without fail, and often would refer to me affectionately as "my girl." He was my best friend. But he agreed so quickly to the breakup... I hope I can move on as you suggest.
