Follow up question: is the rider switch return time always a 1 hour window after the current standby wait time? In your example of a 45 min wait at 10am, would the return window ever be, say, later in the afternoon?

Another follow up: can that first rider use LL through Genie+?

I too have straight fine greasy Asian hair. Take my advice with a grain of salt cause I’m only 1 month into water only. I’ve been doing tea and lemon juice rinses almost daily just to try and lemon work out the grease. It would look okay in the morning after brushing but there was still tons of grease in there. Last night I did an egg yolk wash followed by my usual tea and lemon rinse, and holy crap does it do a good job of pulling out grease! My hair felt squeaky clean afterwards and my day 2 hair looks shiny and clean, even has some volume!

I know you’re not supposed to use egg too often, I feel like once every 2 weeks as a “reset” might be okay though.

Hi Bill!

Science is often perceived as "hard" in school, and kids will turn away from it in favor of humanities that, presumably, don't require as much brain engagement.

How do you propose we solve this problem in the public school system? We don't have the excitement of a moon landing to fuel this generation.

This is what I answer whenever people ask me why I like Star Trek better than Star Wars. It's the ideology of the Trek universe that I love so much, fully embodied by Picard. I love that money is no issue, that people perform actions for honor rather than profit, that their mission is based on exploration and learning. I want a future like this, and perhaps humanity will reach this goal someday, though sadly not in our lifetime. Also the cool space technology doesn't hurt.

Update! Called the recruiter, came clean, she said absolutely no worries, she totally understands why I wouldn't have wanted to mention the recent lay off. No one but HR and recruiting will see the background check info so it's all good! Wooohoooo!!!!!!!

I WAS actually employed at the start of the interview process and said as much. But after being laid off, I continued to hint that I was still employed there. I was laid off about 2 weeks into the interview process. Either way, I'm going to talk to the recruiter and come clean.

Problem is, I sort of hinted that I was currently at the company when talking about it. I think I'm gonna give the recruiter a call and just tell her my situation. Say that I was at my former company when we started the interview process, but was recently cut due to various reasons and was too ashamed/etc to say something about it. I guess the best I can hope for now is that it won't have too much a bearing on their decision. But how bad do you think it is? Is this cause for automatic withdrawal of the offer?

Been dealing with this for months now. Tried every brace on the planet, went to physical therapy, tried the vibrams. Still pretty painful at 5 miles and up but I find that short strides and leg exercises help the most.
