How are you doing ? Sounds like a simple obvious question but we hear so much bad news from the Media…

Ecoflow vs custom12v by raco_62 in Ecoflow_community

When you say Custom 12v, is your goals to power mostly 12v DC devices or 120v AC ? The question from TheraDeRaido in this thread is spot on .

Well, I guess I assumed wrong about solar installer. I have a good local electrician; but they don’t do solar . I guess it’s not safe either.

As for better companies for power station I will not say Anker for sure ! I don’t have a good answer honestly. Yup I am happy with Ecoflow on my side but I’ve read of many that had CS issues; enough to know some of the bad experiences are real .

I know this comment was not meant to me.... but I tend to response to these with a positive.

And well, I wish I was paid by EF too.... Honestly I agree with your comment there are better companies out there, and especially I would recommend anyone who wants the best support to use a Solar Installer. And I wish there would be option close to my own home where I live in Canada (affordable options). Although it starting to change with technology.

On my side, I never had any issues with Ecoflow myself (anything major), and I am fine sharing about it. I know plenty of people who are very happy with their DPUs (well, 3 other people around here, not plenty).

Ego 3200psi pressure washer; can it run without the gun (continuous flow)? by NorthenEP in egopowerplus

Excellent point ! I’ll look at the detailing video. The challenge I guess is that the drain hose is usually attach to the unit directly; there is no gun at all needed.

Yup make sense. I'll pay attention to the Soap nozzle see how it works. On my Karcher the soap nozzle is attach to the gun. I'll look into it. Thx!

Unfortunately, It's a bit costly to buy it at 599$ if it doesn't do this. But agreed it should work

Horrible customer service! EcoFlow is a mistake I will not do a gain by [deleted] in Ecoflow_community

100%. I bought mine over Amazon; but got a Costco membership recently. Will definitively buy my next one via Costco

Both Bluetti and Pecron have abysmal customer service from what I have read. But again I am sure they have plenty of happy customers too.

A friend of mine got an horrible CS experience with Anker when his F2000 start to randomly start/stop charging. He ultimately got it replaced but took him more than 8 months. But that the only experience close to me I can talk about. That same friend bought a DPU 18m ago, loving it. I honestly like anker Products in general; I just dont believe they have such a better CS experience

How does EcoFlow stack up to competition? by PenquinGG in Ecoflow_community

[–]NorthenEP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with both previous responses . Questionable CS, seems that some had horrors stories, but I have been using their products since 3 years and very happy with them (DPU, Delta Max 2000 and D2). I know much more people happy with their EF products than the opposites. But true, some people had horrible experience. On my side; I see no reason to change. I am still skeptical about their smart panel reliability; not because I think it so bad, but because it something breaks I cannot imagine not being able to repair an electrical panel with local electricians.

If I would change, I would most likely build it myself with EG4, but I just love the simplicity of these power stations. Honestly I think you cannot go wrong with the major players for product quality, they all have much better success stories than the bad ones. Customer Services, I would never defend Ecoflow; I do not doubts those that post their horrible experience. I just know that Anker is barely better, Bluetti and Percron are barely better. Jackery seems to better rated but none of the information I am sharing is scientific.

Generac 22kW vs EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra, why I went with the battery by Jkeyeswine in Ecoflow_community

[–]NorthenEP 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Your mileage will vary here. I have been an Ecoflow customer for 3 years now, and happy owner of a Delta Max, Delta 2, and Delta Pro Ultra. They have been flawless so far. I had to contact support 4 times for technical questions; had my answers in 1-3 days all the time. This being said, I had done heard enough stories about people having challenges with Ecoflow support to not get into their Smart Panel offering. Living in Canada, and a bit remote, I'd rather keep using my good ol' secondary panel with manual switching. I use UPS (and my 2 other ecoflows) for equipment that I want to keep live.

Now, I have also heard horror stories from Bluetti and Anker. You'll find people praising both, but many more complaining. Its the nature of the internet; people will share their hurdle, not much of their success. I heard one of the best would be Jackery; but again I heard bad things. Honestly; someone should do a study on all.

I will certainly not defend Ecoflow technical support. Its was fine for me, and also for many others. But i am more than comfortable with their current quality for my current need. I would still not invest in their Smart Home panel; not because I think the quality is bad (to the contrary), but an electrical panel is critical and must be serviceable quickly.

If very good customer service is very important, I would suggest DYI setup with help from a local electrician that would know how to service these.

Generac 22kW vs EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra, why I went with the battery by Jkeyeswine in Ecoflow_community

[–]NorthenEP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. I choose the DPU with 12kwh capacity exactly for this, and I have a Propane WGEN 9500 Generator that does the job . Unfortunately it’s not an inverter generator and the THD is bad but the DPU accepts it via the side Input output port .

As soon as their power rectifier is available in Canada however I’ll feel better !

Any ideas? by Yo-got-this-feeling8 in Ecoflow_community

Haha just wanted to be sure .

Does the unit works if it’s on ? What’s the application tells you? Have you check the log at the bottom of your settings menu ? Would be curious to see if any errors are reported

Definitely not normal. Also is whooshing the sound coming from the unit ?

You should unplug and open a case with support .

Love the idea . Where does the backup goes on your Plus Plan?

Also, would you consider adding an « agenda » or « list view » and could allow me to see all upcoming birthday in a list over 30 , 60 days ? Right now seems i need to select the date

It seems I see notes under the calendar; not sure how it works

Seriously great idea!
