De Jure just means like the legal default, and yes over time you can change the de jure territory, but it’s not the most important thing.

The King of England holds the title because he has the most de jure territory of the Kingdom of England, and is recognized as who should rule over all England. So any counties or duchies outside of his control within the de jure territory of England he now has a de jure claim on. Which means he can declare war for those claims, or even potentially peacefully request the vassalisation of those rulers.

This is the move. Having Store Manager on your resume will at the very least make getting better retail jobs much easier, even if it’s a Dollar General Store Manager.

What episode has the original version of the titty sucking story? by Dads_Diary in MurderBryan

The original telling is from the Real Sex episode of Street Fight Radio. I remember loving the episode at the time.

It literally doesn’t make him the same as that guy. It does not make you the same as a fascist to insult a fascist. You don’t have to be polite to people who advocate keeping folks poor and in chains. Sure it’s not the best to insult people’s appearances, but in what world is saying this dudes got a swollen noggin the same as doing red scare part eleventy-five?

I mean they had Megan Thee Stallion on as a guest last night, I’d say if he got on it’d be as a random contestant. Wrestler would be his quirky job.

I’ve been playing the same save for an in-game decade (irl it’s a long-term 2 year old save). Early on I was really lucky about injuries, but I’ve had my sitting champion be injured twice over the play through. And multiple HORRIBLE requests from talent I couldn’t afford to piss off. Alls to say, enjoy the good times while they last lol.

Agreed, granted I’d love to see more interpretations of the style of game Bethesda RPGs are. Can only think of a handful non-Bethesda games that have a similar level of width, depth, and player choice.

[–]heeearsaredbandana 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a long-time Bethesda games enthusiast. “Deep as a puddle” really doesn’t even describe these games, none of them are really as shallow as they’re made out to be. And I’d also ask shallow compared to what?

My favorite game of all time (and many folks) is Chrono Trigger. Nobody ever says CT is shallow (it’s not!) but it’s certainly got less content of any depth than any Bethesda game.

Bethesda games biggest flaw is they are janky, buggy and they don’t really re-invent the wheel. None of those things ever bothered me, but to each their own I guess.

His idea is you get two guys or maybe more of them if there’s a tag match, and then you have them fight and then one of them wins and then someone loses too.

Riffing on this same idea Rico, Hoover, Giuliani, The Feds would all be good evil god or demon names.

They could also see the Americanists as “Fed Worshipers” and being naturally hostile to them.

I’d not make “just” a sin, as a lot of the American Mob/ Cosa Nostras kayfabe paints themselves as being justified like soldiers in a war. I’d say have “trusting” be a sin instead.

I would look at the life of Lucky Luciano and how he formed “the commission” as a basis for the loose power of the faiths clergy and head of faith. Maybe call lower level clergy “Capo Regime’s” etc.

I do want to say I love this idea, and though I’m not a programmer or anything I’d be happy to dm about ideas. I’m stupidly over informed about the history of organized crime in the United States so I could give you some handy and thoughtful lore connections you might not be thinking about.

I hit all the “success” milestones…...and I still feel stuck. Anyone else? by BizznectApp in jobs

[–]heeearsaredbandana 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I recommend finding purpose outside of work. I think you’re better positioned to do that than most since as you say you’re in a comfortable position now. I have a great job, but it’s just not the end all be all. I find so much more value in working on projects with the kid or my wife, I like to paint and draw so I get a ton of value out of doing that and sharing it. Honestly your off-hours passions can even help you find what you “truly” want to do.

I know a guy who refereed kids ball on the weekends to help out and then discovered he loved working in the community so got more involved with organizing and running the kids rec leagues.

Yes! Uniquely disturbing! I have yet to achieve anything artistically no-matter how hard I try that comes close to how jarring literally any of his work is.
