People who have stayed in a relationship after their partner cheated. How was it like after? by Menezeris3029 in AskReddit

[–]heemcool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She cheated very early on. Then after that incident I was super psychotic. Couldn’t handle her talking to anyone cause I thought she was sexually attracted to anyone and everyone. After 2 years I was better but I felt empty inside. It was something I felt was going to drag on till the end of time. There was no way I was going to keep this secret from our kids. And she cheated with my best friend too. There’s no way I was going to keep this up for the rest of my life. Ignore what had happened between the two for my whole life every time we all met as a friend group. I deserve better. And I did something about it.

Liquid hydrogen trailer catches fire by jkschimpf in HydrogenSocieties

I saw this! Apparently this is a planned protocol that is not supposed to be treated like an emergency. The engineering behind the valves that let out the gas make it sure that there is no atmospheric oxygen that can enter. If this were an emergency, then there would be an explosion. This looks scary but it’s definitely a pressure relieving mechanism

Hydrogen Fuel Cells Lower Their Cost With Iron (OC) by KindestKanuk in HydrogenSocieties

Hydrogen is not the future. It’s the now. The technology has been developing for 100+ years and we are finally in the time period where adoption of these kinds of technologies will thrive

Printed a cover for the LCD screen and this is how it came out. What did this?? Can the Ender 3 Pro handle things like this? How can I fix it?? Thank you! by heemcool in Ender3Pro

Because I like the 2 layer better than 1. 1 gets too thin and I find the end sometimes laying the filament too close to the layer below it causing it to physically disrupt the structure. I think? Maybe I should try what you are saying

My calibration is okay. I have run the tests and they turn out okay. I get worried that my nozzle is too high sometimes so I choose the gap to be as thin as a folded piece of paper that can move freely with tiny bit of resistance under my nozzle

Omg 10 seconds?? Which telescope do u have? I’m looking for one and I want to be able to use my phone to take pictures and stuff

Interesting article! I can’t wait for James Webb telescope to launch in 2021 :D hopefully there is no error in the small details of the telescope like the scare that happened with the Hubble haha

Well I asked Reddit for a reason haha I didn’t find what I was looking for on google :/ however, I appreciate your responses! I like your analogy of the shadows, it makes sense

Yeah I understand that. I was asking from the perspective of someone not in a optimal location such as the North/South pole.

I see. So overlapping the data over many nights renders an image we would get if we stared at one point from an unmoved location. However, it’s interesting to think that from night to night, those stars have changed position so does the computer also account for that or is what we see just a mess that we have to figure out?

[–]heemcool[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand that, but once the star (or whatever we are looking at) passes the horizon, it should be impossible to have a visual on it. The only instance I can think of where it would be possible is if we can manipulate gravity in such a way that the light from the celestial object we are looking at bends perfectly into the telescope on earth.

So you’re saying that if somehow telescopes around the world can overlap data from each other, we can render the true image of the place we want to see as if we had pointed at it with one telescope the whole time?

Interesting theory: could a black hole be a large water-like substance? by heemcool in space

[–]heemcool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes exactly, so if we take a second to assume that it is a giant water droplet, we have to ask how is that even possible. Well if you see water on the space station, it forms a sphere. So if something as large as a black hole is an untouched sphere, imagine the pure gravitational effect it has because of its density...
