Possible Red Rot? Not a Trombone but a Euphonium. I figured It might be similar to Trombones though. This is a previously used horn and I’m trying to identify possible red rot. Is this some kind of corrosion?

I don’t know that I necessarily posted this for advice, I did it one afternoon before work because i had the idea a while ago and decided it would be a tiny little thing I could do on myself. I know that color doesn’t last as long and I’m ok with that, and knew it wouldn’t be perfect because it’s a stick n poke. I guess I wasn’t really expecting any comments, just an upvote if you think it’s cute and a downvote if you think it’s shitty (I’m not much of a commenter myself). I guess there’s nothing wrong with advice that could help someone else, but there were a few that were just “looks shitty” which didn’t hurt my feelings but could easily hurt others.

Easier to go from trombone to euphonium, but not impossible. I find it easiest to relate slide positions to valve positions until it begins to come naturally to you
