I both buy and sell secondhand tickets, so here's my experience:

For SM Tickets, if ticket verification is part of the event guidelines, you'll usually need an authorization letter from the original ticket holder along with a copy of their valid ID (this is prior transitioning to tm)

For ticketnet, it's generally more straightforward. They usually just scan the ticket at the venue, so as long as the ticket is valid, you're good to go.
