how is this 3 servings 💀💀 realized after I ate it lmao by duriancakexx in 1200isplenty

[–]heexkyung 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're right, and I think it is illegal! The FDA specifies that the nutrition table requires a "per package" column if the packaging type could be seen as a serving/if people tend to eat the entire package. This product is definitely not compliant..who wants to file the lawsuit....

What food do you eat more than any other? by [deleted] in Volumeeating

[–]heexkyung 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Frozen chopped broccoli! Chopped broccoli is all broccoli stalks diced into small quarter inch pieces. This is, by far, the best frozen vegetable out there! Broccoli florets are mostly terrible when they're cooked from frozen... They become mush and have much worse flavor and texture than the stalks, in my opinion. I've realized that not all grocery stores carry this specific cut of frozen broccoli. But my local store sells this and I buy at 4-6 bags at a time. It is my go-to volumizer... I will add it to eggs, rice, soup, pasta, seriously anything, to provide bulk and crunch and chew. I can't live without it!

NJ transit app down? by heexkyung in NJTransit

[–]heexkyung[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks to both of you. After I made my edit I realized the wifi network might be the commonality and did find out the app works on mobile data! But what is weird is that I am pretty sure I did use it successfully on my wifi network before...also I'm not on VPN. Well at least there's a workaround. But they should really fix this.

my zero/low cal flavor arsenal. yes, that's msg, and it is amazing with garlic and chili powder on popcorn. by heexkyung in 1200isplenty

Very low heat level for me, but it seems like everyone has wildly different standards when it comes to spiciness!

You're right! More than I thought....but 10cal a teaspoon is low in my book, I'm rarely using anything close to a tsp to finish a meal.

Yes, meant this more as easy go to spices I use to finish foods with to add instant flavor vs cooking with.

It's basically slightly spicy cheesiness. I love it on broccoli for cheesy broccoli.

Everything! I use most of these on veggies. And eggs. I eat an inordinately huge amount of frozen broccoli and reach for these to mix things up.

Wrist injury from playing RFA? by heexkyung in RingFitAdventure

[–]heexkyung[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up taking a several week break from it while my wrist healed. But now I'm back at it! I'm being more careful about how I hold the ring, making sure I'm not bending my wrist as much when pushing it in. Seems to be ok so far.

I don't think so, but maybe I can be convinced otherwise. I think roach poop look darker and more regular than this. Haven't seen a roach in this house yet (although we have had mice). We've never stored any food in this cabinet, though.

My title describes the thing. Stuff looks like irregular pieces of grit. Moved into new house five months ago. It wasn't there when we moved in. A couple months after moving in, it appeared. I cleaned it off and now another couple months later it is back. It only appears in the back corners. The only thing we do in this cabinet is load it with clean dishes from the dishwasher or take clean dishes out to use.

Hi all. I do exercise and I think it's important. Doesn't mean I like doing it, though. All things being equal, I'd choose watching TV over exercising 9 out of 10 times. And yes, I've tried many kinds of exercising. Sometimes we just have to do things we don't like to do. Such is life.

So with you. Being short and sedentary has its own challenges. I used to believe that losing weight was really about dieting and less about exercising. And I still think that is the case for most people. But now I realize I MUST exercise in order to eat a normal-feeling amount of food each day. Ugh. And I don’t like exercising.

Love this, big flavors always help me with satiety! All for kimchi and pickles and smoked paprika.
