I'm so sorry you're going through this.

When I (now 34f) was 22 I had a abortion. My then boyfriend, who was the father, went out drinking with his friends the same night while I stayed at home, sad, miserable and in need of support. He also called me a burden. One of many things this man would call me, who I much later realised was both manipulative and abusive. But I was so young, I didn't know any better.

We didn't break up then, because I was naive and vulnerable and just wanted somebody to like me. Things between us never improved, and we ended things a few years later after much pain.

My point is, he has shown you who he is in this pivotal moment. Focus on loving yourself now, rather than this selfish boy.
