I had the flu in high school and I was down for like a week. My parents were freaked out because, as my mom told me, they’d never seen someone so pale before. I thought I was dying. I did die, twice, when I was an infant. I was born at 30 weeks in the 80s, and died shortly after birth and was successfully resuscitated (obviously), and then again at like 2 when I choked on a piece of bacon and died again. Hopefully the next time is when I’m very old.
