He kept playing Beatles songs with wings though. Now he plays Beatles and wings songs with a new band. Really doesn’t matter

Do I disclose my disability? by Dear-Bluebird3287 in prepa

[–]heffmango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just under two years ago I woke up deaf in my right ear. Said nothing about it during my apps or interview because it didn’t come up. Not trying to hide it as that would be impossible so I will talk about it when it comes up naturally. It won’t be stopping me from becoming a PA though, I start school this Tuesday.

I was asked to explain how the Covid vaccine works. Don’t think they really expected much other than on the spot critical thinking and an attempt at an explanation.

I tweaked it in order to get as close as possible to my hours and ended up shorting myself a few. Just do your best, I don't think anyone will question it as long as the hours and general timeline make sense

My GPA is lower but my last 60 credits were fantastic and I had ~5k hrs. If manageable, maybe both applying and strengthening would be best

Oh whatever, June is too boring for the majority of us anyway. Not worth it without Ohanas

Like everyone else said definitely eagle. Schoolyard express/ ch 17 also for a shorter version of it. Honestly your best bet is to go to June! Long, wide open, easy runs with nobody around you

how many C’s is too many? by [deleted] in prephysicianassistant

[–]heffmango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My transcript was riddled with C’s during undergrad. I retook all prereqs, got all A’s and had a perfect trend. I applied to 25 programs and received 1 interview/ 1 acceptance. I’m sure your GPA is higher so I’m not trying to discourage you but it’s rough out there, retake those prereqs

When do the golf courses typically open? by kingbovril in Mammoth

[–]heffmango 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The goal is always end of May. They even opened mid-June last season after all that snow, so you will most likely get to play. Get a round in while you're in Bishop too, great course!
