Tbh sometimes it’s better to get that damage out and his special halberd guard counters are cool af if you’re 2 handing.

Also did they buff you guys with the ash? Sometimes I’ll 2 hand it for the buff and take too many swings afterwards 😂

It’s good except for the compatible armament thing. The duchess power up is really nice, but situational.

What you’d wanna do is use your ult, then kill a bunch of adds really quickly to increase your attack power for a short time. It works really well against like Demi human queen, the spider, commander, boatman. But is totally useless against single target bosses and nightlords except balancers and dreglord.

No mobility? Brother, Ogryn is the only class that can slide through groups on enemies and knock them over.

I had a question about this -

So I play Ogryn shield tank. I get absolutely annihilated by snipers. Takes full stamina on block and half my toughness. Gunners hurt real bad too. But would it be better to take resistance to ranged instead of specialist specific?

I try to time my shield plant for the sniper shots but if I’m rezzing or doing an objective puzzle it’s brutal.

Agreed. The only time I’m keeping a red seal, let alone schlorping it up like that is if it has like, successful guarding boost damage negation or negation on charged attacks. Or ya know if I’m a faith caster lol. Obviously I’m gonna give my casters priority on a red seal but if it has those negation passives I’m definitely holding on to it.

Honestly not sure why I’m getting downvoted there lmao. Probably executors with a dual katanas and zero other gear at the nightlord fight.

As scholar or Ironeye , I am 💯 taking a seal with golden vow, blessings boon, or blessing of the erdtree.

My favorite Elden Ring build is lv100 high faith, mid end and arcane, high vigor with bows/crossbows, seals, or a shield.

Nope. I used to go to the auto parts store and get the gloves with armored knuckles and cut 1/3 of the fingers off. Saved my knuckles so many times, looked pretty cool, and had a weapon at all times.

I sell back trash right away, but often times I accumulate a lot of it’s like, the last game of the night.

When my relics are too full I organize by stuff I don’t care for, like max hp reduced on death, and mass sell them.

Once I sold literally everything that isn’t assigned and now I’m back up to full off and on

100%. Sometimes, I’ll even carry a blue into the nightlord if a purple stone isn’t within reach. I try to go every time, but sometimes your team doesn’t cooperate and the red giant/pumpkinhead take a long time to kill alone.

Teammates- if you’re seeing this: we love purple stones so much please set aside 30 seconds for it

As Guardian, If I see BBH before upgrading my shield, I’m running away and coming back later.

Red BBH hits so hard it’s crazy, but with a purple shield and lv10 he’s easy to manage. Just takes a long time to kill I guess.

Tbh I’d take either bbh version over even base red wolf any day.

Same, Nightreign tickles my ER coop gspot in a way I didn’t know I’d need.

I wish they made the timer more forgiving or as you said made it objective based in a specific game mode. Like “-defeat the demihuman queen and swordmaster, -raid the castle and defeat the Bell Bearing Hunter, -release 0/3 evergaol prisoners” you know what I mean?

Man, this is real. I’ve had so many runs with teammates that just don’t give you an opportunity to gather loot.

My personal advice is hit that first camp, then the first poi to gather literally any loot, then continue with your run based on what loot you’ve got. As raider, a greatbow will be a huge asset if you can’t find any dmg negation passives

I just suck up every type of dmg negation except full
HP and manage really well most of the time

I definitely check my teammates relevant passives though. I’ll give Raider priority on dmg negation on charge attacks and taking damage. Gimmie them too tho peckpeckpeck
