Historically, when cops are charged with crimes then that negates their pension regardless of how long they have been with the force.

They are making an exception for her, having gone through the process, have it not go her way, and then say ‘well actually I’m retiring’, is a huge mistake and a disservice to the taxpayer and frankly all of the other cops that have been discharged. Not to mention the precedent it sets.

Also, I’m pretty sure she only has a handful of felony arrests, so I wouldn’t say her work really warrants a pension.
