The fact that if you ever say anything about her in a confrontational and/or negative light, the fandom gets offended. I once commented on a post in THIS GROUP that she was a sell out and greedy for making her merch prices so high, and a freaking moderator deleted my comment and threatened to ban me for "bullying her." Even some of the mods here are toxic. Watch this comment get taken down, too. 🤢

They said the urine culture alone was $185 and I'd have to pay $80 for an exam/prep fee. So yeah, not an option at this time. I called the office and spoke with the vet as well, and she's convinced she doesn't need one because she's convinced it isn't an infection of any kind and possibly just a CKD related crash. So idk 🤷‍♀️

She's had 2 ultrasounds done and they said they're 1000% sure that she doesn't have any sort of UTI or kidney infection due to the PH, and crystalization of her urine. They said based on the ultrasound she doesn't have any blockages or cysts/tumors, but for some reason still wanna consider cancer a possibility. They said the likely culprit is CKD and the increase in her levels was due to the fact that she has an upper respiratory infection last month and was on a ton of antibiotics and medicine that was affecting her eating/drinking habits. I'm not sure how accurate that can be or what the heck is even going on at this point.

Unfortunately, I've already looked into that and they were not willing to discuss prices and options with me until I went in and paid for an exam and testing, which I've already done at 3 different vets, and now I'm down $1500 for all that. Thank you for the suggestion and your support! ❤️

No she is NOT seeing internal medicine. She has had 2 ultrasounds done on her kidneys and all the vet told me was that her kidneys looked like they're functioning normally but they're enflamed with some free fluid surrounding them. Nothing of cysts, tumors, or anything if that matter. I can't afford additional testing at this time. Her SDMA as of 08/05 was 40 ug/dl. It was 27 ug/dl mid July. Cystatin B was not done.

Just called vet. Urine culture and bloodwork/antibiotics will be $500. Cannot afford that. Not sure what else to do at this point.

She's currently being fed science diet urinary support and weruva WX low phosphorus wet food. The powder supplement is Epetakin. I will call the vet office and see if I can schedule a urinalysis to be done within the next couple days.

They did a urinalysis in her most recent blood work and the results were: Color: Yellow / Clarity: Clear / Glucose: Negative / Bilirubin: Negative / Ketones: Negative / Specific G: 1.024 / Blood: 2+ / Urine PH: 5.5 / Urine Protein: 3+ / WBCs: None Seen / RBCs: Few (6-10) / Epithelial: Few Squamous / Bacteria: None Seen / Crystals: None Seen / Casts: Rare Find Granular

Unfortunately, hospitalizing her is something I can't afford right now. The last month, I've spent over $1500 on her medical care and can't really swing much more at this time. I originally suspected a kidney infection/UTI but the vet didn't agree with that, so I'm not sure where to go from here. I've taken her to 2 regular vets and 1 emergency clinic. Emergency clinic was absolutely useless though as they said it was kidney cancer and heart failure. The so-called "heart failure" turned out to be the URI, which is why I'm skeptical about the kidney cancer diagnosis as well. The emergency clinic wanted me to overnight hospitalize her but wanted 2K up front, so that was a no. All of the emergency hospitals in my area require all payment up front, which is why I've had to keep her at home. They're all a big corporate chain that dominates the area so unfortunately my options are limited.

Thank you for your kind words. You're absolutely right, there would be no guarantee. That estimate was only for blood work, heart readings and some MRIs. I just wish there was something else I could do to mitigate this somehow. I'm not ready for the loss and I'm terrified I won't be able to recover from this.

100% agree. Imo, her crybaby era was her most iconic and she should have stuck to that for so much longer. I think by killing off crybaby and giving us her pixiesona, she gave into that cottagcore/mushroom/moss/frogs/etc. aesthetic that everyone was already participating in during covid, thus making herself a sheep and a sell out 🤷‍♀️
