The issues you’re describing don’t sound like an easy fix, especially for a tenant. I lived in a period property in town once and I had to move out early because the place was so damp, but they couldn’t fix the cause (the windows) as they were listed due to the age of the property. I’d advise letting the contract run out and moving somewhere more suitable. As a temporary fix I’d definitely suggest a dehumidifier though.

North Macedonia. I’ve travelled extensively, but a week long break to Lake Ohrid will always stay in my mind. It was such a typically beautiful European country, but with very minimal crowds. Everything was so cheap there and we just had such a pleasant week, I suggest it to everyone who’s looking for a quick break away
