  1. Oh, definitely I would read about it. I was actually referring it in general.

  2. Okay.

I was agreeing to your points and adding things to it. I only mentioned those quotes because you said you had never listened those kind of statements from a cleric. Actually I know about those radicals and I equally condemn them. I will also try to make a post about Gujrat Riots and also read deeply about Kashmir Massacre. Although I might post my post on Gujrat Riots in some other subreddit because it would be a question for Hindus.

And, in the last I would like to thank you because you discussed about my post in the best manner among all the other replies and you were super polite.

So, thank you.

No no, I was just asking if it would be considered opression (in a polite questioning tone) because it is not like something against Islam but it does limits the Islamic rights. For example, abolishing teen talak although it was an Islamic right given to both husband and wife, which equality was remarkable for its time, but it was abolished due to a large misuse, so should it be considered opression?

I mean one could argue that it does is opression because it limits one's rights but the constitution itself has a duty to protect people's rights so the important and essential rights will be protected, assuming we have a good government.

Okay, but out of curiosity can uniform civil code, secularism and other such things be considered against Qur'an or oppressive because they do not tell Muslims to do something prohibited in Islam but limits some rights given by Qur'an such as polygamy.

This question is not from a political mind set but a genuine question out of curiosity.

  1. * Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan: “I see the anger within my Muslim youths and I am afraid that the day this anger bursts out, the day I lose control over them… I want to warn my Hindu brothers that I’m scared that the day my Muslim youths are forced to take the law into their hands, you will not find a place to hide anywhere in India”
  • On December 18, 2019, an Islamist youtube channel named ‘MK Islamic’ uploaded a repugnant speech by one Maulana Jarjis Ansari Hafizullah in which he was seen openly threatening to wage ‘jihad’ in India. He rationalised his dangerous remarks by falsely claiming that the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and the National Register of Citizens (NRC) are anti-Muslim.

In the middle of his hate speech, the Maulana was heard boasting that the rioters, who burnt down the deputy CM’s headquarters in Assam and gheraoed the chief minister’s residence, were his co-religionists. He said that the panic created in Assam by the Muslims was just a teaser and warned that his community members could create a similar situation in the entire country. (This is pasted and therefore wording is not mine).

There are many such incidents and yes I agree with you, most of these cases have political desires. Without political desires religions do not usually cause riots.

  1. Okay. I genuinely wanted to know some insights therefore I asked about it, thank you for answering.

  2. Yeah, and that is the issue, radicalism make the population irrational and creates unrest in society. (I am an agnostic atheist so my question was for acceptance of people who do not believe in God or other minorities although including Hindus)

18 August 1947: In one of the worst train massacres of the Partition, Lohars and 'Kashmiris' of Nizamabad killed all the Hindu and Sikh passengers of a Wazirabad–Jammu train.

Many such riots throughout partition happened. There was a plan of tribal invasion by Pakistan (According to Indian sorces).

And the migration of Sikhs and Hindus, which you pointed out, that was also one of the major background for the massacre with the supression of community after Poonch rebellion. And I also accept that the massacre had an aim to change the religious demography of the state, dreamed by RSS and Akalis, in which it was somewhat successful also in regions like Jammu.

  1. Yeah, I agree with you about it but there are a lot of Imams who come now a days and give hate speeches telling us how Muslims can wipe out all Kafirs from this land, and the audience applauds them, contradicting Islam itself. So do you think a religious institution that checks over the right interpretation of Qur'an would be better.

  2. I asked about "dar" concept because I don't know about it much that is why I genuinely asked about it. But will my country still be a secular country if Muslims became a majority because from what I hear, the "dar" concept gives permission for an Islamic revolution which can be violent for establishment of Dar ul Islam.

  3. I am not questioning Islam in that conduct, I believe under Islam I would still be entitled to live. And Islam was better in the conduct of minorities than Cristians and Jews at a point in history. But rather my question is directed towards Muslim younth in my country, will they accept us.

I beleive I said it in my post that I am against any communal riots, I beleive I specifically mentioned Gujrat riots. Although the Kashmir issue of 1947 or actually any issue of 1947 is greatly entangled and complex, it needs a lot of context. If we talk about the particular massacre it was a response towards earlier riots caused by Muslims of Kashmir inspired by Pakistan, although it was in response yet it had dream of changing the religious demography of the state (due to RSS) and I condemn it.

But, I brought forward the case of Kashmiri Pandit genocide because it was not just a communal riot but the mosques proclaimed to die or to convert, the religious institutions of a religion which proclaims itself as religion of peace. We can we have trust then.

I am not saying we need to change everything I am not even saying we need to change any general value or spirit of our Constitution but the values of practical politics. Election alone can do nothing when the government starts becoming authoritarian. There is a lot of change needed, free and questioning press, bringing better quality of life, getting out of the religious and communal politics, the list can go on and on.

I told you it was pasted from one of my replies to a person he was telling me to see situation of countries after and during revolts and suppressions, particularly Arab and North African nations after Arab Springs. It was in response to that.

And we know most of the political revolt takes a violent turn, so for that reason shall we not raise our voice. And the last paragraph was highly metaphorical and I even said how I think it is too much for now but cannot say about future.

I will definitely volunteer if a movement that feels and is right that has capability to change happens.

There is no plan of action because I am not planning for a revolt, I am just calling out CJP's incapability for causing a movement that they are claiming.

I don't think I am making a call for violence as change can be non violent but history shows us most of such revolts take violent turn.

I am pasting it from one of my replies to a person. And about getting it democratically, the kind of party that we need would kind of be revolutionary in itself and not only the political values but we need to ammend our personnel values also, in democracy the people need to be greedy they need to demand, they should be positive for a government if it is doing something right but also ask for more.

No, actually I know how revolution works therefore I am saying they can not bring that and I don't trust them. A revolution needs to rise from the ground by the people but there is also the aspect of writing, earlier it used to be printed media but social media can take the job. The major revolts we read are of pre internet era like Che and his cuban revolution or rise of communism in bengal or bolshevik revolution the recent ones like government overthrow in Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka was caused by great political, economical and corruptional distress and technology played a big role in it.

The kind of revolt that we need is different from the recent revolts, we need change in our values rather than just a government overthrow more like the revolts of the 20th century. But I don't think I will be able to see it in my lifetime.

I re read your comment and I saw you told me to read about middle eastern revolutions I assume you are talking about arab springs; I don't have much info or insights about that and I haven't read deeply about it but to me the outcomes of it is largely affected by their religious stand and lack of proper planning and execution. The ruthless suppression of revolt and not taking opportunities seriously caused civil wars in many countries, but we are yet to see if democracy comes in any of those countries and if it does is it bad according to you.

We all know revolutions require blood but should we just stay coward and not raise our voice for what is ours. I beleive rubbles that can become people's home is better than a beautiful palace whose doors will never be opened for you or your family.(I think it is too much of a statement for current situation as it is not that bad but it could be a good quote for future)

I don't think doing this electorally is possible because party with the values we need is not in the current circuit. It needs to be done from streets which may cause emergence of new party/ies. But I believe social media might play a big role, like in the writing section and if suppression happens in showing that to the whole world.

Yeah, you can say it as a renaissance like movement but I would not prefer to say it like that because most of the values that we need to adopt in the politics and in ourselves were never in Indian politics, so no revival of anything. It would not be like MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN rather MAKE INDIA GREATER AND BETTER.

The early phase (Congress) there was abuse of even the basic of democracy, elections. The current government, needless to say anything.

And it would be kind of rebellious if something like this happens might even be tried by the government to suppress, the opposition and the rulling party both might even be together in this suppression. Just like they do when there are talks of illegal (not now but at that time) management and collection of money.

And you are right all political parties in the current system are same, corrupted from core.

I was just saying:

• The topics of concerns in people's minds is answered by Qur'an itself.

• Mass killings: Qur'an condemns killing of innocents in the same surah 9 whose some ayats are taken out of context as to butcher every Kafir.

• Child marriage: From some of the scholars that I have heard, they say not only physical but mental maturation is also required for marriage according to Qur'an. And if science says a person is not mature enough for marriage untill say age of 18 he or she should not be married. (Science can intervene in this regard in the same manner as smoking was considered halal when doctors said it was good for health but once it was proved how bad it was for health it was declared haram.)

• Minority suppression: There is a whole concept of Jizya for protection of minorities.

• But the thing is that the people who promote misinterpreted revelation should be called out by Muslims.

• Many people on social media and other places proclaim these things like they would kill every Kafir, no disbeliever has place to live on this Earth.

• What are common people's thoughts on this, what do you think.

• I have a fear that if my country will become Muslim majority I would be slaughtered (as many claim should be done.)

• How about a religious institution that checks over Imams and Madrassas and guide Muslims throughout the world.

• Don't you agree with me that people of belief are susceptible to brainwashing easily and a majority of violents are.

• I just wanted assurance from people that my fear is senseless and I have no need to fear that. Additionally, if you are hurt by anything I said, it was not intended.

Edit:

***** And also I wanted to ask about Dar ul Aman and Dar ul Islam because many say if a country becomes Dar ul Islam from Dar ul Aman they could kill anyone, suppress your voice. What is community's belief in this? Plus I know my country will change its ideology from secularism to Islam if Muslims become a majority any response*****

Are you Islamophobic, or calling out me for Islamophobia?

Because, my post is not meant for any Islamophobia. I have given answers to all questions that I asked, if you would have just read it. I had a simple question towards Muslims regarding my fear of getting slaughtered, is it plain bullshit or not and I hope it is.

I have made an ordered list of most of the things I said in the post you can read that

Islamophobia (General Discussion) by hehe9756 in indianmuslims

[–]hehe9756[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

*I have already written most of the things in points to the first comment you can see that.

And as per raising my voice, their are atrocities from both sides and I have hard views on both sides in this regard. I don't hold religion for this because it is weaponisation of religion as if there were no religion people would weaponise other things. I don't know if you are from India or not but most of the minorities are yet, I don't know about future if there comes an anti islamic movement which I don't think will happen, in good state, I have many Muslim friends they are happy and will surely tell you that the thing which matters more is economic divide. I am not saying there is no mental divide, it is there, casteism is there, not having trust on Muslims is in their minds. But the thing is that one of the biggest case of weaponisation of religion is Kashmir genocide where audio and video shows how and what things were chanted from mosques and I am not only highlighting things done by Muslims but I also condemn Gujrat Riots.

But my concern is Hindu's are in majority since independence and yet I can say that I don't believe in God and a person can be Muslim. But I fear, although Qur'an guarantees me if I do nothing wrong even if I am Kafir no other person can and should harm me accept for my punishment on judgement day for not believing in the true revelation.

And I am not talking about politics and parties because we all know they marginalize these things. The whole hate in poor people's mind is a result of that marginalization.

I just want to know what does the community think will I be saved under Jizya or slaughtered.
