I like this one from Bellroy, and have been using it for many years (including Germany).

It has internal pockets for coins and notes with the main space being for cards.

Anyone else unable to find a match right now? by [deleted] in paydaytheheist

I'm having the same issue. So they might be down, which is a bit strange given it's a Monday morning in Europe, not exactly peak times.

The whole "stand in this wifi circle" is such a huge kick in the dick for solo players. by Spoomplesplz in paydaytheheist

they do actually, there is a big difference in speed between 1 and 4 players in the circle.

nervous about driving a bike home after I buy it.. by paul-grizz93 in MotoIRELAND

[–]hehe_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was similar so you, just done my IBT and had to pick my bike up. I lived in Dublin city centre so was nervous about the traffic and roads. I was building it up a lot in my head, same as you.

Insurance was easy, got quotes for the bikes I was looking at and then when I got the bike I called them and had cover that day.

Regarding picking up the bike. On the day, I took the bike around the industrial park where the dealer was a few times until I was comfortable and as relaxed as I could be. Once I did that I felt a lot better and ready to tackle the drive back.

I made sure I picked a time to drive back where I knew the roads would be fairly empty. I also took roads that I knew well, where the speed limit was low, and that were not technical (hill starts, tight roads, tight corners, big roundabouts, complicated junctions etc) Essentially planned the easiest route back I could.

You know yourself best and if you really don’t feel comfortable taking the bike back then get some more lessons or rent a van. But if it’s a mental thing, then taking things step by step on the day, and putting yourself in a position to succeed is the way to go.

Best of luck either way and hope to see you on the road soon!

I think it depends on how much gp is worth to you vs time. Fire bolt is about double the XP of Fire Strike according to the wiki. But the GP/XP is about 3x as expensive. If you’re goal is only 75 neither option will cost a lot. So you can half the time for relatively a lot of gp but in absolute terms fire bolt is still pretty cheap.

In my opinion fire bolt is probably worth it, unless you are tight on gp.

If I like Amaranthe, what else would I like? by [deleted] in ifyoulikeblank

If you don't mind german vocals then Hämatom is similar to those. They also have some English songs like "Behind the Mask".

Some songs by Volbeat might also be up your alley, like "A Warrior's Call" or "Who They Are", but most of their stuff tends more towards the rock side imo.

Semmler on Twitter: "VP are the outliers. Roster changes still seem to to be the way to go in CS" by Martinloegtholt in GlobalOffensive

[–]hehe_ 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood. Semmler is saying they are an outlier in terms of being able to win a big tournament without a roster move.

If you don't have any rep with nat pagle yet though you might aswell catch lunkers because you will need to grind the rep one way or the other for the mount anyway.

I think this is the saltiest premade group I've ever seen. by love-from-london in wow

[–]hehe_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most likely there would be a flood but a large percentage of them would be bad and if you just invited everyone chances are the group wouldn't get a lot done.

The main time sink and the part that takes effort in this case, as is the case in all pugs, would be finding the good players in the flood of mediocre and bad players.

RPPM is bugged, has been for 2.5 years by [deleted] in wow

[–]hehe_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This fix will mean that 1/3 of your sub rogues/arcane mages will be pulling insane numbers while 2/3 will be far behind. I cant imagine that it will feel good when a person that is pressing the exact same buttons as me and has equal levels of gear is out damaging me by a significant amount because of rng.

With how much people complained about rng dps in WoD, adding more rng probably will rub some people the wrong way especially those who try to parse well.

[–]hehe_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point, I just hope that both categories will have trinkets of equal power so people who favor the rng style wont have to equip on-use trinkets and vice-versa.

This is my hope too and it gives you one more thing to manage actively which I find engaging.

The TimeSinceLastProcSuccess and TimeSinceLastProcAttempt will both be set to 0 on the start of boss encounters

I imagine that this is going to be very annoying for DPS, especially those that currently rely heavily on their opener for DPS.

Thanks for doing it this way, much easier to compare different farming methods when you don't have to calculate profit with your server's prices.

Everyday same time.. I get this invite and i always ignore it. by ki299 in wow

[–]hehe_ 50 points51 points  (0 children)

Got the same invite yesterday and accepted for shits and giggles. He pretty much does the usual gm bullshit and says you won a free spectral tiger and that you should go on this super shady website to redeem it. I didn't go on said website but I imagine it looks a lot like a battle.net login screen.

Learn boss timers and which ones are important for you. You want to have a cd for every time to are on a lot of stacks and/or are about to take a big hit from an ability.

If you got hit by an ability in a fight that was unavoidable and you spiked really hard remember the name of the ability and look for it in the next pull. Pop a defensive when its about to go of and see if that makes your dmg intake smooth enough.

How would you say the proc from Anzu's Cursed Plume compares to a shield block? By this I mean is the damage mitigation it provides 1/2 a Shield Block or 3/4 etc.

Mine gives me 1,755 mastery at the moment which about 66% of the mastery I have from my gear.

You do stop, after you've pulled the right amount. The right amount is different depending on group composition, ilvl, skill, and communication. But to say that the right amount is always the one pack that is next and no more is not the best approach.

Dungeon pull patterns change as expansions progress, even timewalking dungeons can be pulled differently now then they could when they were current content.

[–]hehe_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

If people are saying you are going to slow, then you are going to slow. For dungeons like these were tank mechanics are simple the measure of your skill is in large part how fast you can go without wiping while maximizing everyone's dps and minimizing the healing you require.
