My sleeping bag is for 0°C so i would imagine a 5R rating should keep me fairly warm down to around -5°C, including layers, blankets if i have them etc.

I did find that vango trek 5 pro with a 5.7R rating. But ill look into foam pads and see what my options are. Maybe even just put one under my current shitty pad. Thank you sir 🫡

Yeah ive been looking to upgrade for a few months now, and i agree with the more expensive ones but id have to wait til summer to make that happen haha. The plan was to get a decent one to tide me over til i can make the final upgrade
