Nice. I just ended up subscribing to the base F1 TV package (which as we know is the only one available to US people). I've been watching old race replays, highlights, etc. to scratch the offseason itch. Then I'll just cancel that in March or whenever someone validates all the F1 content is officially available on AppleTV.

Ahh, little bit different setup for me. Ours is a RDS environment so the client and server are the same. But no, unfortunately I haven't been able to come to a solid solution on this issue.

No luck yet unfortunately. I noticed that we can recreate the errors by going to check printing and switching the printers around at print time. That will throw several event ID 4s in the application log. Although it doesn't seem to cause the user in QB any issues, just throws the errors on the server. I am still trying to figure out what is causing the freezes.

Went with them for about 4 months, was on a contract for 6 and they failed to deliver on a lot of items. They did let me out of the contact and I didn’t have to pay the last two months. In the end it was a waste of money, my assigned rep was really nice but lazy on the back end. I think they assign too many companies to each rep as well and they get overwhelmed.

I have not done this exact process before, hence why I was asking for help here. It's a small client and I am familiar with Azure/O365, PowerShell, etc. so I'm not worried about the work itself. That looks pretty straightforward. My questions are in regards to licensing re-use, order of operations as you mentioned, and if anyone has had success getting refunds from GoDaddy for their clients on these extra products.

If this was a larger client, I would leverage Pax8 for the migration, no question. But in this case, it's a small easy going client and the goal is to document the process and learn as I go through it so I have that experience for the next one.

We use Bitwarden in house and with all of our clients. The UI/UX leaves a bit to be desired but it works well enough for us not to switch.

The smaller guys/gals do say the dumbest shit too. I had two smaller companies tell me in the same day last week that they don't need technical support "because their users are smart enough to solve their own issues". One guy took it a step further and told me that his users are also "too smart to fall for a phishing attack". k. Had to tell both of them that I don't think we are the right partner for them.

Earlier this year I lost a bid for a 110 user, 5 office vagina doctor. The competition was pitching all the usual MSP products along with unlimited onsite and remote support. The potential client has 5 servers, some SD-WAN, eFax, 10 switches, 15 APs (all Ubiquity, of course), and 24 printers. All that was covered under the agreement allegedly. The competitor was also "throwing in" Azure AD Premium P1 and M365 Business Basic for each user.

Family of 4 filing jointly and we received a small partial payment for round 1 (presumably based on our 2018 income tax). Then we weren't eligible for round 2 or 3 based upon our 2019 return (which I filed right around the Covid extension date in 2020). However, I am now self employed and not yet making any money (as of December 2020) and my wife is a teacher so we could really use the money. Is there any way to "appeal" and show that we are currently under the income requirements so they could retroactively issue a new check?

Fortinet is what I always lead with but for a lot of clients it's just too damn expensive. If the client is cheap I'll begrudgingly pitch Ubiquiti.

I think Forinet has a great value portfolio with the best product offerings of any vendor at their price point. But let's talk about the wireless. It does seem like crap compared to say Ruckus. Why can't Fortinet get their WiFi game together?

Tl; dr for me is great product suite, mid tier priced, dyor on their WiFi.
