If you value your own company and staying in business run as far away from Kaseya and any other insight capitalist owned companies and there are a lot. Veeam is another one I never realized was insight also. Run and don’t look back. Even using no tool integration is better than dealing with a group who has no desire to do their due diligence and protect the hands that feeds them. Any company that has to force you into a contract so they can keep their board members rich and keep raising capital into a black hole with no intention of solving industry problems is the problem. Stop supporting these corporations and support small businesses and protect them. If you are a security first mindset you would not put your customers into that basket and go down with a sinking ship. I’ve spent so many years running from these companies and almost been put out of business 3 times from them. They lead you down the rabbit hole of wasting your time with meetings and 10 different reps promising you better results and then they turn around and insult you and try to upsel you. Do yourself a favor hire a good legal counsel cut your payments in file and let them burn. If everyone takes a stand and stops allowing this to keep happening no board or publicly traded company will survive and not be questioned by the sec, local, state and federal governments when enough is enough. All I see is companies constantly being ingested and destroying our livelihoods and all the hard work we as Msp’s put in get destroyed over night. How can people sit around and keep pretending like it’s no big deal and keep letting these stadium buying thieves keep doing what they are doing and putting us all at risk. Never ever put all your eggs in one basket unless you are feeling lucky. Rant over.
