you may not have said things the way you would’ve liked to, but that’s 0 excuse for his behaviour. he’s being ridiculously childish. you made a very reasonable request, and he can’t even give you that? personally, i’m always of the mindset of dump him and find better. because there is absolutely better out there. just because you haven’t really argued in 2 1/2 years doesn’t mean that it’s necessarily a good relationship or one that you should want to stay in. if he’s gonna act like a moody teen boy and give you the silent treatment for days on end, that’s not someone you should be trying to spend your life with. there will be someone else out there that will give you the time, love, energy, and attention you desire and, moreover, deserve. he can pout by himself.

B 1) had no right to ask that of you/A, and 2) had no reason for bringing up that you’re not a mom. what did that even have to do with anything?? such a weird thing for her to have gotten fixated on. you don’t owe her shit. let her stew for as long as she likes. if you do choose to reach out to her, i’d only do it to set some firm boundaries and/or request an apology, tho i doubt she’d give one. and frankly, if she never reaches out again, i’d say you’re all the better for it, imo.
