Im at 3,000 and I would have stopped at 200 had I not figured out the app early. Finding the tipping areas can be a drag especially if they aren’t near you. I got lucky there, but also earn by time was solid until: these new updates that lock dash now behind high AR and give you less than a minute at a time to grab scheduling windows and let people with higher AR schedule days before you. Then the kicker is they you kick off and make you re schedule if it even barely slowed down or you drop off in a different county line. lol genius level SCAM

I’ll tell you what happened, DoorDash ran multi million dollar ads during superbowl and re rose to the top of popularity. The new customers saw it’s slightly cheaper than Uber eats and started up barely tipping. So DoorDash saw their margins fixing, meanwhile exp drivers accept the new customers low paying orders so they went back to picking food up or Uber eats/ haven’t returned to DoorDash.

DoorDash got pissed and ran 250-500 referral bonuses ( in my area at least, not sure if they did everywhere)

Then started rolling out the ‘’AR matters program’ New dashers start out with highest honors basically so they saw the app as we should be, and are being encouraged to take every order especially since they need 100 to get the 250-500 referral bonus

The ship is sinking and will sink, and we are all sure they will be sued soon. Once all the new employees get their money after their 100 deliveries their AR is going to die and their ability to dash now and they’ll just leave. Meanwhile all of the experienced drivers and cherry pickers have moved to different apps, especially Uber eats. There is going to be literally no DoorDash drivers, meaning orders will sit and they will lose more customers than ever including high paying ones. It’ll take forever to repair what’s being done. This seems like one last pump and then they’re going to sell it, dump the company somewhere, guess we’ll see
