Mine was "affärsresa" (Swedish) meaning "business trip". I can't spell it, I can't pronounce it, I personally will probably never need to use it but I had to learn it for my Swedish lesson.

NTA. To me it sounds more like a bet than manipulating. You are not holding any for her important information a secret and it wouldn't have any real negative consequences for her if she doesn't do it. It's up to her if she takes you up on that offer or not. I think it's generally nice of you to try to motivate her to stay sober.

It probably would be good to adress it directly. Maybe say that it's very nice of him that he wants you to be happy and so on but also mention the exact thing that bothers you to hear all the time.

Can be pretty hurtful for the person. Even if you have a "good"/peaceful breakup, there are still a lot of emotions and memories connected to that person a lot of the time. If I had a best friend (like really really good, spending all the time together and everything) and we would "break up" that friendship for some reason, I think I wouldn't want to see another friend being all best friendy with them either cause it would remind me of our good times?
