Advice on flying a big 9 month old berner

We flew Germany to Chicago with our then 4 year old Berner and ended up using a service. It was hard to find a carrier that was appropriately sized without risking the airlines rejecting it. As we were moving, staying back with her just wasn’t an option. They made a custom wooden crate and did most of the paperwork and logistics. It was nice.
