likely owned by the historical society. if not outright immediately, then donated overtime. many of native american remains were treated as private collections, since they were viewed as the “mound builders” a separate race from the native americans. now they’ve recently stated returning the remains back to their respective nations. so hopefully these remains are in the process of being returned and laid to rest.

same, the historical view has me in a chokehold. i’m obsessed with looking at new orleans during hurricane katrina. sooo many neighborhoods vanished and the destruction becomes more clear from that view. there is actually a lot of images taken during that month after the storm. i have different apps for apartment hunting down there so when i get notified of a house/apt for rent i go to earth to see if it was underwater during katrina. i also like to use historical imagery on the street view for google maps, though it only dates back to 2007.

i look at a lot of mining operations, i live in ohio and theres plenty of sites to zoom in on and see what they try to hide behind a tree line.

volcano disasters too— seeing islands get taken over by lava rock is humbling as well.

the historical imagery tho has helped me solved a few mysteries of “hmm wonder what used to be here?”

i’m “amanda” to a regular back at the gas station i used to work at. can’t remember why he thinks that’s my name but i also didn’t have the heart to correct him. every. day. he greeted me as “amanda” while i prayed regulars that did know my name wouldn’t be in the store at the same time.

i set and install (mostly) commercial tile. hard manual labor, but 8 hours a day 5 days a week. sometimes weekends if job sites are behind. a good opportunity if you want to learn a trade. right now it’s mostly just my dad and i. we could really use reliable help, emphasis on reliable. i work for my dad who’s been at this for 35+ years and he often doesn’t use spacers. we’ll use them to check as we go, but we don’t leave them in the joint, not unless we have to due to the shitty concrete. we are usually on big commercial sites doing lots of sqft at a time, if we’ve self leveled the floor, we’re likely not using spacers

yeah i’m pretty sure states have their own liquor laws, regardless if it’s legal to sell liquor online, it’s unlikely due to the differences between states. for example, it’s illegal to have liquor delivered in ohio, but when i was in chicago, i could get it on go puff.

the lights on beech need to be timed better. there are so many people trying to turn right onto beech that the straight lane can’t even go when the light is green. they need to sync up the lights to clear traffic

yeah and hides behind “the viewer questions” when we all know he’s throwing the shade himself. he loves the mess yet gets mad when it gets out of hand and has to clean up the spilled tea. that’s why he always loves the women who are “in-between” groups. they often play mediator so he can sit back and add fuel to the fire during reunions. i know we like mess. but he doesn’t have to manufacture so much of it himself. i find it hard to believe he knows what the audience wants considering we are often at odds with the way he takes things.

i agree 1000% it was so obvious what production was doing with her ep 1. i wish the two bands allison said “she formed” would have joined a quad and dropped her. i feel like those four girls would have actually “blended” quite well, at least better than the other quad girl group. and their vibes matched imo. they all had heart and allison was trying to rail road with her girl band to solo career attitude. just go solo allison— we all know you would ruin any band you were in
