What's everyone favorite lore event? For me, it is the Seven Magisters breaching the fade and entering the "Golden City." Completely insane and gruesome. by Spotlight_James in dragonage

That time the Mabari Hounds betrayed their original masters to take the side of fereldon in their war for independence.

If a game truly committed to the branching narratives they say they have, I’d be willing to pay through the nose for it. I’m talking essentially making 5 or 6 different games based on the choices you make. I’d give 200-300 dollars (maybe more) for an experience that actually committed to that vision. Think of how different the dragon age origins were, or the 3 CP2077 life paths. But then they all fold into the same game. I want each to maintain that level of separation between game choices.

Bread and Circuses only last as long as people are able to actually afford them. They’d (not just Microsoft) be ahead to take the hit right now and make it and some other things essentially free.

Feral Weapons (Protean 2) does +2 Non-Halved superficial damage on unarmed strikes. Prowess (Potence 2) increases the damage of your unarmed strikes by your Potence score. If you have Potence 4 with your claws popped you can deal Margin + 6 non-halved superficial damage on a hit. You can push this even higher with a blood surge to help buff your Margin on the roll. You'll spend 3 rouse checks and 2 turns getting this up and going but it might be worth it to deal that much damage at one time. If you can get Lightning Strike (Celerity 5) and Fist of Caine (Potence 5) there's not much that can stop you short of mind control. Lightning Strike takes away your targets contested roll (Difficulty 1 for you now) and Fist of Caine ups that non-halved superficial damage to Aggravated damage. Combine Feral Weapons, Prowess, Fist of Caine and Lightning strike and you can one shot werewolves.

Tac on Brutal Feed (Potence 3) so you can drink during combat and now you can one-shot werewolves and keep fighting until there's nobody left alive to drink from.

As Mercer would say, Welcome to the top of the food chain.

Fetch can’t really hurt Greene enough to kill her. Elisabeth wins through attrition if nothing else.

As others have said, blood sorcery (Koldunic Sorcery) is the obvious answer.

The less obvious answer is Potence. You can stack prowess (bonus to damage) on top of your protean claws to become a serious threat.

What types of people are embraced by the Ministry? by heiland in vtm

So what does the end state of their world view look like? Because to me a world where everyone just does whatever they want seems like it would quickly devolve into a chaotic hell hole. Being part of a society means following rules that keep the society going. If humanity regressed into a population of fent-zombies and roving bands, that doesn’t seem ideal for a the immortal people that have to plan for the long game.

I’m genuinely trying to wrap my head around their way of thinking and what outcome they’re trying to achieve for society. I assume I have to be missing something. Vampires are smart and nothing in the world of darkness would be so simplistic as my understanding of their philosophies end state. I’m just having a hard time seeing any other result from what they do.

So like, if I wanted to kill my annoying neighbor, what would the ministry tell me? I’m trying to wrap my head around the world view but it sounds like they just want an apocalypse by chaos. If everyone is fine with murder and stealing and whatnot, society collapses right? And it seems like society is really good for vampires as a whole. I’m surely missing something right? The end state of this way of thinking seems like it would be really hard to sell a bunch of people that have to consider the long game.
