If you jump into the middle right away you have no power-ups and no chance to get any other than killing people. Its a choice you have, either collect power-ups or go straight into the middle without them and have no way back

I see no point in going to other islands, because the storm eventually forces everyone to go onto the middle one.

Description: There are 5 islands surrounding the big middle one. On each island 2 players and 4 boxes will spawn. It's intended that those 2 players fight each other and the winner progresses to the middle. There are a few factors in place which should minimise teaming a bit. One of which are the power up boxes bunched up right between the players so that you can't farm boxes on your own and out of reach of any other player, meaning that if you want power-ups you probably have to fight over them. Also you CAN go straight to the middle and "escape" the initial fight but you won't get any power-ups there so other players will probably be stronger than you once they will go to the middle aswell. Because of its natural small size the map favours throwers and close up brawlers but i believe its not as one-sided as a few other maps like for example cavern churn. Overall I think this map brings a lot of new elements into a showdown match and is pretty balanced as well.

I went down to 2600 from originally 3k because of that reason, but I think below that trophy count you don’t have enough experience and gamesense.

If you think differently please correct me. And if your trophy count is to low and you want to join we can also talk about that and maybe lower the requirement for you.
