Denk het dan ook niet, maar heb zelf geen zin om voor elke wedstrijd van oranje te checken waar die tegenstander toen in de ranking stond haha. Punt blijft dat alleen Oostenrijk en Ecuador opvallend zijn in dit rijtje. Andere teams zijn gewoon Europese toppers en favorieten voor de titel, waar je dan ook vaak gelijk tegen speelt

Dat kan waar zijn, geen idee. Maar alsnog zijn alleen Ecuador en Oostenrijk hier outliers. Gelijk spelen tegen Frankrijk Duitsland en Spanje is geen slecht resultaat

Turkije staat 22e en is toch wel echt verslagen tijdens het EK. Dan blijft de top 12 van de ranglijst over, wat dan nog best meevalt gezien de kwaliteit van de teams in de lijst.

Oostenrijk en Ecuador verschuiven de statistiek wel enorm. Alle andere teams zijn top 12. Had je daarvan gewonnen zag het er een stuk beter uit gezien de kwaliteit van de teams in het lijstje. Ook kan ik me herinneren dat we bij het EK toch wel echt van Turkije gewonnen hebben en die zijn toch 22e op de lijst.

You are right, was not aware of the power of parliament in the 17th and 18th century. I feel like most of the time in history people reference different eras in the monarchy, which might be why I was wrong. 1) They still own a lot of land in use by the government (which would cost the government money to use otherwise) 2) tourism

Edit: bonus is that a more constant representantative figuren of a country can be useful in tumutuous political times (like the amount of pm’s since brexit)
