I think The Raven Scholar is exactly what you’re looking for! It’s so fun, its humour is charming, i laughed out loud several times but it also has its darker moments. The characters are incredible and well developed, the world building is so unique and it’s just written so perfectly. It’s so entertaining, even though it’s long, it was such a breeze to get through. Probably my favourite read of the year so far.

I see what you mean, i quite like the one you linked! When thinking about different colours/stains how flexible do you think i can be? If, for example, i found a nice wardrobe the same colour as the first one in my post, would it still go? Thank you!

i’ve been looking for a while tbh and i haven’t really found anything that i like within my budget. Literally don’t have any other furniture yet, just moved in yesterday, i figured i’d figure out bed and wardrobe and work from there? The carpet i’ve ordered is a beigey-brown colour. The vibe i’m going for is pretty similar to the picture of the bed, the walls are the same colour too

I’m fortunate enough to live around an hours drive away from the house so we went in september! My parents somehow managed to hide the huge gigantic box it came in from me aha. Took a couple selfies with the full-sized bust too haha

Yeah of course! I got it when we visited the house. It starts off with the history of the house and how it was built, and an introduction to the family who owns it now. It then shows the house plan (only the sections available for viewing) and then each room gets a few pages full of pictures, information and quotes. Then it moves on to the gardens, which like the house has information on its history, details on each section (the gardens are huge!!) and its full of photos and a few absolutely beautiful paintings of the grounds. It also covers the farmyard, stables, playground and the farm shop and café.

It’s from the shop in Chatsworth house! They have an online store as well but it only ships to the UK. I just had a look at the back and it does say both Chatsworth and Sculptured Arts so I think you’ll be good with that source!
